wait isn’t uldren the next hunter vanguard
Just replayed Forsaken campaign and was wondering.
Since cayde basically says whichever hunter kills him inherits his job and Uldren technically killed him and has now been resurrected ([i]presumably as a hunter[/i]) does that mean that he’s the new vanguard?
Just a thought.

Beyond our Guardian, who was shown by Mara that Uldren was resurrected, no one is aware that he is alive. Considering also that he wasn’t a Hunter when he killed Cayde, he probably doesn’t count on that technicality. This isn’t even to mention his extreme youth and inexperience as a Guardian. No, please god no. Hidden wasn't a guardian when he killed cayde. Plus, to make someone so selfish and destructive would be disrespectful to cause and what he represents and what the vanguard represents. I don't see it happening and I doubt ikora would allow him to even step a single molecule of his foot into the city.

Technically speaking yes, but if that was Cayde's dare then my god he's an ass hole Thanks Cayde, for all you know you've just elected a shadow of Yor for the vanguard. Potentially killing hundreds of innocent people and ruining your legacy, great job buddy thanks for that.

I mean he should be, it is a vanguard dare after all. Hopefully something with that comes along soon with that because him getting resurrected could mean big things. (He likely doesn't remember his past life like all other guardians)
