wait, doesn't tether already do that?
Because I'm fairly sure that the numerous times I've tethered an enemy and shot one, they all exploded in some void explosion thing, chaining off each other.
And this was me solo-ing stuff, no nades thrown or anything.

This would be more of a fire and forget type of thing

Bottom (?) tree tether has a bloom-like effect when you kill enemies who are tethered.

If it's the single shot one, that's top tree and yeah. If we're talking about the multiple-shot one... I never use it.
