Hello, Recently convinced a friend of mine to try out Forsaken and was trying to setup the Refer-A-Friend. Upon our first attempt, everything froze up when he tried to confirm the invite, so I deleted the invite to create a new one. Now he only gets this error when he tries to confirm: "You are either an existing Destiny 2 player, or are the new player in an existing referral bond. You cannot join the Refer-a-Friend program as a new player more than once unless you are joining with the same player who previously deleted a bond with you. You can still access the quests and rewards if you refer a friend to join the program." We gave it some time in hopes that the system would sort itself out but no such luck. He bought Forsaken on 6/7/19 so we are practically at the 7 day cut off, and would really apprecaite some help from Bungie on this issue. My friend is now getting the error "We've encountered an error please try again later." We gave it overnight to see if it would sort itself out but the error is still happening this afternoon. I have tried re-sending a new link, and having my friend clear browser cache/cookies before accepting but niether has worked. Hoping this gets another look by Bungie before the extension is up.
