Bungie Shouldnt Make Destiny 3
Either Destiny 2 should have all of Destiny 1s content added along with new content indefinitely or Destiny 3 should not be call Destiny 3, should just be Destiny (Insert Subtitle Here) and then that game should contain D1 and D2 and be used as a foundation for an indefinite amount of future content. Restarting every 3 years in a universe lacking all the previous locations is a terrible terrible idea.
Edit: An important point, destiny games release with 4 playable areas and 1 raid. Once we have shadowkeep D2 will have 9 destinations and 7 raids, why would anyone want to lose gameplay, things to do, all your stuff and progress, just for a fancy new 3 and for the second time? Its just not gonna be a good idea. It was bad enough for D2 but if they are gonna do it again thats gonna end badly.

This was brought up either last week or this week during the various E3 interviews. it's an issue of file size. D2 is already huge. Pretty sure they said they were trying to reduce it, but there is a limit on how big the game can be. At least for the moment anyway. Might not be an issue for Stadia or the other streaming services of the future.
