The stomp thing needs to be no further than maybe 5 feet out. Wizards and hydras should not have stomp period. Wizards maybe your health is taken semi fast or hydra it whips you with its tail.

And if you are on a platform above ground or have double/triple jumped, it shouldn't affect you. shock-wave is a wave, waves travel in very specific and regular ways. and if you are above the height of the peak height of the amplitude, you shouldn't be effected, and if it's a 20 ft tall 20 ft wide wall, all things including other enemies should be effect, cause that's how that works. if it's a blast, it's above ground or at least not bounded by a solid medium, and if it's 20 feet off the ground and you crouch, it should have a much reduced effect, and not send you flying or one shoting you because they also take away your armor and weight and abilities.

Agree, it shouldn’t be hard to program right ether. Have the stomp only affect enemy hips down. Say the hydra does a blast effect then realistically if you above it, then you should be safe. Considering it’s a cone shape enemy and blast would be from its body not top of the head.

Always thought it was strange that Wizards have that stomp mechanic built in, but they also have that stupid fart cloud they emit time to time. Both are annoying.

Leave it at the fart cloud, the stomp thing isn’t in there physical skill set.

Yea it ticks me off a lot. I’ve since learned how to avoid it just in time or right at stomp fire. It seems to mitigate distance thrown. I’d like to see cracks in the ground from it at least.
