Are Powerful Engrams Broken?
Last night I had 7 powerful engrams drop, 5 from raids and 2 from weekly's. (3 from Scourge, 2 from Last Wish. When I realized the engrams were dropping low we backed out of Wish) I also had an exotic drop from one of the treasure map chests. All of them dropped below what I had equipped in the same slot, including the exotic. Am I the only one who's dealing with this?

3 RepliesDrops are based on your overall power level, not the item in that specific slot, so it's possible to get powerful rewards that aren't higher than that particular item. Plus, those sources seem to be giving out powerful rewards that aren't much of an increase, as opposed to, say, the Menagerie.
