Didn't break the Code of Conduct? You basically went around telling people to quit the game. That sure sounds like disruptive behavior and could easily be seen as toxic posting.

I have set around 300 Guardians free. If the Ninjas dont like it then.... https://www.who.int/features/qa/gaming-disorder/en/

Edited by GrundleBeans: 6/11/2019 2:33:26 AMSo basically you are arbitrarily and without any credentials as a mental health professional judging for yourself that the people you've talked to have an addiction. Got it. And you wonder why Bungie would ban you for being disruptive to the community... Also:
Studies suggest that gaming disorder affects only a small proportion of people who engage in digital- or video-gaming activities.

If the Ninjas dont like it then....
Then they can ban you, obviously. You're doing something you have no authority, credentials, or just reason to do on this forum. You could just as easily talk players into being more conscientious of their time playing WITHOUT urging them to quit, or point them to ACTUAL qualified people to judge whether they have a bad addiction and what to do about it.

I realized my addiction and got over it and shortly afterwards the WHO declared gaming disorder as a legitimate disease. Yes, it only affects some people and those are the people I have been helping to be free. https://www.who.int/features/qa/gaming-disorder/en/

Edited by GrundleBeans: 6/11/2019 2:42:00 AMYou don't know that. You're making assumptions and acting irresponsibly. I can see why Bungie would find you as disruptive and breaking their code of conduct, much in the same way anyone would be not allowed to go around claiming to have expert advice on treating depression or cancer. You're just arbitrarily choosing that the right course of action for everyone you talk to is to get them to leave the game or gaming itself entirely, with on real understanding of their personal mental situation. This is why psychologists and therapists don't do therapy over the internet.

And yet... Im still here. I dont need a college degree to set people free.

Edited by GrundleBeans: 6/11/2019 2:56:12 AMYou're here on a different account if you're saying you were already banned from posting on the forum. Tick tock. It's only time before this one is banned.
I dont need a college degree to set people free.
That is terribly arrogant. You're probably doing a greater disservice to those people than you think, because you're basically giving them "home remedies" rather than getting them to seek actual help from people qualified to treat mental disorders. Your help is as good as a child trying to perform surgery.
-
Sorry if it offends you. But I have overcome a very unhealthy addiction and helped others do the same. Its not about arrogance, its about health.
-
No, see saying you are the person to "set them free" and going around as if it's your duty to do so is arrogant. Saying you don't need to be qualified with any sort of training in mental health treatment, is arrogant and delusional. Thinking you can accurately treat addictions over the internet from cursory conversations with strangers is not only arrogant, but dangerous.

I set them free. It is what it is.
