You could still get 18k back, people keep using this as an argument. I could still get some money back from a car, if I maintained it, no crashes, still got good mileage on it, I could still get money back.
Do you understand this, I can’t get some money back, enough to put a down payment on a new car and start the process over again. What could I do with destiny 2? Nothing, I can’t get anything back, and I’m not arguing for anything back. My point is, stop regurgitating a dumb argument.

There would have to be an argument for it to be considered dumb. No such thing here. If you want to use just your point of view that ia cool. So, take your copies of Destiny to your local used game store and trade/sell them and get back whatever you can. Like the car manufacturer, Bungie owes you nothing. It is up to you to get "other" worth out of it. No one else. So as I stated, no t shirt or coffee cup. Sorry!

I have digital, I can’t get a refund. Also, you don’t know anything about cars. You can’t just return and get a refund from a dealership. Sales are final unless dealers offer the privilege. There isn’t a federal law that enforces a refund policy on vehicles. So no, not like any car manufacturer, I just can’t simply return the car and get a refund. If it’s defective, they’ll fix it and give it back. So yes, it isn’t my point of view, it’s facts, the car analogy is dumb. I can get money back from a car, I can’t get anything back from destiny.

So next time buy a hard copy! As you did your car! No value in digital cars either!👍

That still doesn’t get the point across about prime gambit being free, dlc isn’t a hard copy.

Imo, this set up should benefit "us". The ones who have paid for Bungie to get to this point. If people actually play it for free maybe it will return some of the player base. Larger player base means more money (if done right, which can be argued), which in turn hopefully results in more content and loot. Whether you like Warframe or not, Digital Extremes has done a awesome job with content and new loot. If Bungie can replicate that we are all going to enjoy it. So I am willing to take the loss of money ( even if I don't feel that way) for the greater gain of the game. Call me crazy or hopeful.

They’re not doing well. They bring massive worlds that are empty. They removed the raids, they add content and never fix it. Archwing missions should not exist. They had a year where content was missing because one person told them this “wow this game is very pretty, it will fail”. I will always say this, pretty games as a live service will never work out, the work load just to animate your characters and worlds could take months upon months. Which is why Bungie is going to recycle the moons patrol. Games like red dead will suffer because of the same reason. So no, Warframe isn’t doing well in terms of content, each update has become a bigger grind. To get some of the new frames requires grinding the factions in each of the new open worlds. PoE was a glorified static tile set. Now they’ve updated the look, their eidolon is the endgame goal, but it’s still a big empty map. No, it isn’t subjective, Destiny’s patrol zones are much more substantial than Warframes open worlds combined.

I haven't played since "free world" Earth. I did like that everything was replayable and you had a lot of choices of what you wanted to do. Factions, weekly/daily, sorties. I know they are bringing back raids (maybe) but did replace them with large "encounters". Mod setup was amazing compared to D2. D2 plays better. Hands down. I just want everything to be available all the time. D1 pretty much did that but D2 is missing a lot of it. I just feel thay have missed there mark on a few things. I just do not know if live service can exist on the console, tbh.

Kind of, most frames right now are nukes. They’re trying to change that with wisp. The mod variety becomes a static thing too, they’ve also had a power creep so they’re reworking melee. Right now it seems like they’re getting a better understanding of what game they want to be

Feeling of power. Something we don't really feel now on D2. Hopefully it all changes. I am a sucker. I will pre-order.
