Can devs do everyone a favor and fix some issues in this game like what hasn't been fixed in 2 years. (The heavy ammo issue) is just one of many in every event in this game. Stop the throttling heavy ammo because it's annoying heavy ammo is not dropping in gambit or other events, causing gamers to push others out of the way to get the one on the walls that the same thing happens in PvP. Bungie said back (before D2 released) that during the bata they would fix the heavy ammo drop rate issue. I mean it's 2 years later and throttling it is their only solution? even the gear that has the perk for heavy ammo works backward's starting up a forge. If you have heavy ammo starting up the forge it literally drops like candy. If you don't have heavy ammo even if you kill all the ads No heavy ammo drops. I mean, is that a prank, to have a perk work backward's? I just can't believe something so small to fix "needs" to still be throttled 2 years later. Edit: Here are some easy solutions. 1. Have Xur and other vendors sell them. I mean, if they can bring a lot of things back from D1 as they are especially with the moon coming back this should be really simple. 2. Fix the drop rate so it drops more often. 3. In events like Gambit put extra synths on the walls 4. PvP, make it so everyone can grab it like D1 or extra synths on the walls There are other options but it would be nice if this was actually fixed instead of dealing with the headache of not getting heavy ammo to drop.

So will the new expansion include improved communication from bungie? So far it isn’t looking like it. An hour long vidoc filled with a bunch of cringe buzzwords, is not really communication, it’s all just hyperbole. It was just , hey we are going to the moon to kill bosses we already killed and we are fixing things. No mention how they are getting fixed. That is why I feel kinda cynical with the announcement. This whole drip feeding information plan you guys have, would work better if the state of the game was great. But there are so many issues that need fixing, none of which were issued in the vidoc or livestream

Are you actually going to address matchmaking for solo players? If not I ain't buying the new dlc! Think instead of preordering I'll wait to see the twitch people make of it.

My biggest issue with this is the reveal stream I mean Datto? Really? There are three community managers. You are the guys that relay what the community wants to the design team. You the managers not a streamer. He worded questions in specific ways so your guys could wriggle out of answering properly. He outright lied about some stuff. For the first time I will not be pre-ordering, its just D1 all over again. So many quotes in the video that I've not seen any evidence of.

Recycling, the Game

For some reason Bungie gets more passes then any other studio and when Bungie does something that is mildly mediocre they are praised when their only achievement is equivalent to a dog pissing outside for the ten thousandth time and people somehow swallow this garbage. Bungie set the bar so low for themselves that people are actually impressed when they add the most basic features to the game or resell the same products banking on nostalgia from D1 bc people actually enjoyed that game before they took everything away and then tried reselling it to us again only for many of us to catch on but only after we boarded that doomed train. But surely one by one people are waking up and ditching this death ride of a game as it spirals the drain. Bungie logic... "But we reskinned the map and reused every enemy you fought so we can charge you more money for assets we have already expensed bc we need money after buying our rights to publish our shitty product back from Activision. So we are giving away all the old stuff for free in an effort to get more players to buy the new dlc to make more money. Oh and also to milk our loyal fanbase, who has already spent upwards of $380 since destiny 1 launched, for every dollar they have left." What's funny is if we have bought half of Destiny 1s content back thus far in Destiny 2 then we have paid $100 twice for the same content. I'm not buying into your garbage anymore Bungie. You expect me to believe suddenly that just bc Activision is gone your creative genius will suddenly appear and you won't try milking your players for every dollar they have. You already have by reselling us everything from D1 telling us we needed to start fresh. How is getting half of the old stuff we have back a fresh start? Bungie is literally lying through their teeth. Get real people I'm not swallowing bungies coolaid anymore and you shouldn't either. Save yourselves the heartache and find a different game to play. They proceed to screw over their loyal fans by consistently charging them more and more while giving the farm away to anyone who is late to the party. They are literally drip feeding us the content we loved from D1 in the hopes of banking on the nostalgia over time and hoping that people don't wise up to the fact that Bungie is barely spending any money reusing assets from the first game. It would be an ok thing to do if it wasn't literally all they did. Fanboy logic... "But Warframe does it! Whah!" No Warframe does not do what destiny does. They don't charge for new dlc. There is a path to earn everything in game for free outside of cosmetics. There's also trading so you don't have to spend a single dollar on silver or whatever the currency is. You can just sell your blueprints for in game currency and buy the cosmetics that cost cash. I can't see Bungie offering us a path to earn everything in game for free or by trading. When destiny 2 came out who in there right mind thought that less gameplay options would be better. Having 2 choices in a skill tree is lazy as shit with literally no options to mix and match was a terrible decision to make. Literally everything went backwards like they hadn't learned anything from their mistakes or other developers mistakes. Now suddenly because they have reintroduced half of the content from destiny 1 back into destiny 2 people are suddenly excited and forgetting that we already paid for all this shit. I don't care if they threw a few buildings on the moon and added a crevice. They literally took away all our guns telling us we needed to do it for a new experience only to use returning weapons as a major selling point for their DLCs. How is anyone ok with what Bungie is doing to it's customers? This is straight up theft. Oh wow they changed a perk on your gun. That can not cost that much. At least not $20 for dlc or a season pass worth of content for every player. It's absolutely asinine. The only way I or many people I believe will come back is if we get all our old maps, weapons, pvp modes, and anything else they took away from us back and not at a cost but for free. You can't sell us the same product twice in what you pitched us as a ten year experience where we constantly grow and collect unique items and ADD to our inventory. Not subtract and add back. Wtf I'm so annoyed with Bungie anymore. Even with all that idk if I would come back bc I don't want to promote a studio that pulls this kind of shit. I mean wtf the selling point of destiny 1 was that it was a 10 year progressive game. The restart made no sense and the campaign we got was aweful. (Space turtles are their worst creations in destiny) What is that resetting us back to nothing 4 years in and then slowly giving us back what you took away but charging us for it. How is this legal? Other games reuse some assets. But they make updates to things. Make the gun look better from game to game. So it may operate the same but look slightly different. Even Bungie followed this practice back when they made Halo. Weapons looks evolved. They felt better from game to game so it didn't feel like they were reselling us the same items twice. They definetly didn't reuse the same maps for story missions without making drastic changes or without it making sense for the story. I.E. literally picking up from where Master Chief left off in the previous game. Anyway I'm done ranting now. But there is so much wrong with what Bungie is doing. They are literally milking their loyal fans dollar after dollar with nothing new to offer. Besides the fact that Bungie has already drove away so many players bc of their bad practices. Activision jumped ship bc they don't see this game making good profit anymore. If Bungie doesn't make good profit bc they have burnt half their fan base how long do you think destiny will last? Not to mention it's not even really worth getting back into destiny anyway bc when the next gen systems come out they will likely reset everything again bc they don't want to have to add two new systems worth of servers when they can just reuse them by starting over in a new game

The irony of Luke Smith talking up player choice and our characters looking as unique as possible, when he has twice been responsible for trashing all earned Y1 gear to force players into a much narrower choice... We know what happened in D1 with Taken King. In D2, they rendered all the Y1 gear representing 70% of character items, so inferior to Y2 gear that no one bothers with it. I was hoping that SoO meant it would return, but it was a vain hope I don't believe anything that guy says. All the nudge-nudge, wink-wink innuendo in that video that everything bad was due to Activision is a blatant lie
