dont always go for 15 motes
do clear blockers
watch out for invaders
dont invade if your last invade was unsuccesful
dont take motes from someone who has 9 when you have 3 or less
keep a stream of blockers going to the other side

i agree. ive always said if you wanna see how stupid people are just play some gambit. everyone just goes absolutely -blam!-. no brain at all

Edited by Legend of Jordy: 6/9/2019 6:21:06 PMI mostly just dislike when a teammate dives in front of me to claim the motes that are rightfully mine. Go kill for your own darn motes. Whenever I play with randoms, it feels like I'm fighting against my own teammates rather than the opposing team. Always fighting them for motes, fighting them for the invasion portal, the heavy ammunition, while having to deal with the blockers myself because no one else cares.
-
Played gambit today. Lost most games as more often than not guardians would lose 30 to 40 motes. One dude lost 43 for the game. They simply will not bank even when called to do so. The irony is they might get motes to bank... but its too late.. the primeval has landed.
-
In prime it feels like the oppositions portal is open 24-7 , it’s continuous invasion after invasion. Why don’t they rename it pvp gambit prime
-
Why are Comp blueberries so stupid? It's like they've never played any videogames ever in their lives and jumped into comp like that
-
dont invade if your last invade was unsuccesful
I wholeheartedly disagree with this. I've been in matches where nobody wants to invade, so I do it even though I'm flaming garbage.

This is why bungle should have had a tutorial quest that requires you to not only know how the game works, but to actually do it, and do it again, and again to finish the tutorial. If you go multiple games in a row of losing more motes than you deposit, or having less guardian kills than you do invasions, you must redo the entire tutorial.

Edited by thatdudeEd: 6/8/2019 3:26:27 PMI only invade cause nobody else wants to. What am i going to do, let 4 large blockers come in and rape us while we have an invader up our ass. If im invading and i die without taking someone down, all i can say is at least i tried

Because the bounties don’t match the game And Don’t forget 1/2 of the player community is to the left of the iq curve
-
Believe it or not that's how most people play the game in general. You only notice it in gambit because it requires the players to do something correct for things to happen
-
Because most D2 players are stupid. They're not any smarter in strikes, you know.
-
I am now 100% convinced that every single person who is ever on my team in gambit when I am solo queuing has never played gambit once. Seriously though, this stuff isn't hard to pick up on. I played like 5 games of gambit and then I got the basic stuff down. I understand that people can play however they want but don't expect people to be nice to you when you are literally doing the exact opposite of what you should be doing. EX: invading when you are terrible at invading.
-
My favorite is: “Cache in, quick!” “No, I need only 1 more for fifteen!” Invaded Pow! (InsertPlayerName) lost 14 motes 😑
-
My favourites are the ones who have like 9 or 10 motes and are hell bent on getting 15 when we only need 1 or 2 to summon the Primeval. I will always go and get those last two myself. 🤷♂️
-
Your first mistake is to expect people to actually try to win a game mode that doesn't exactly demand players win. Very few things require wins and once those items/objectives are fulfilled by most of the community, your luck in winning while solo plummets. Find a fireteam, my friend. You're going to drive yourself insane.
-
Everyone plays their own way. I bank when I get 5 motes, sometimes less. If I'm crossing to another area and I have a few motes, I bank them. I'd rather bank them than lose them. I clear blockers when i'm trying to bank or when I happen to be crossing and see them. I hide from invaders. I don't invade. I wouldn't notice someone else's mote total. I bank when I have motes, not to send a blocker at a particular time.
-
Why don't you find better players to play with, or turn your mic on and communicate? If you play solo, you have to expect that not everyone will be on the same page. Some are working on bounties or quests and don't care about winning.
-
Destiny 2 is a social game. team up or suffer. you do have friends, right?
-
You forgot to add send multiple blockers prior to invading
-
That simple it’s called gambit ............ you would have to be mentally deficient to play in the first place
-
They're playing Gambit. How smart can they be.
-
dont always go for 15 motes do clear blockers watch out for invaders dont invade if your last invade was unsuccesful dont take motes from someone who has 9 when you have 3 or less keep a stream of blockers going to the other side
It's funny how often this happens...I'll invade and get and average of 3 kills each time the first round.. second round someone decides it's better for them to invade and gets 1 kill if they are lucky lmao

Another one I experienced today: If you're a Titan, don't put your towering barricade right in front of the DPS pool. It blocks damage from the boss, but in case you haven't learned from playing Titan long enough, it also blocks damage from players. I had a game today where some joker would do this for each DPS phase. It was especially annoying since I was doing a bounty from The Drifter that was easiest to complete with wins.

Because bungee forgot how to teach people to play their game. It's not that hard. Some "pre-f(l)ight checklist" would do. But as long as there is no separation between those playing for fun and those playing only for bounty - nothing will change. Anyway, as of now all we can do is to remember Karl Marx and slightly alter his words into "the education of the guardian class must be the work of the guardian class itself". Because bungee doesn't care. Capitalists - what do you expect from them, comrade?:)
