With the final Bard dealt with, the Song ends, the Fissures close, and the hordes of demons are banished. The streets are filled with the bodies of the lost and the cries of the mourning.
In the Underworld, Nil clutches a small red gem containing the nine hundred and eighty three souls of those lost in the incident...and smiles as she thinks of how many lives were ended by the heroes they depended on to protect them.
I’m gonna be honest, I 100% forgot about my involvement in this event...
-
... I continue to rest by the bard...
not included in the DLC
-
What does a loot crate look like when it is resting?
-
*I grimly look over the remains of the carnage, and the innocent blood spilled in my own hands, shaking in rage, and mumble to myself.* Someone planned this, specifically for this purpose. I don’t know if we can stop them from coming here but when they do I’ll send them back to whatever hole, and whatever abyss they came from!
-
ImaDrizzit. Form what I can tell by the scans I got during the battle... the thing that caused this is from the abyss. We haven’t even faced the worst of what they have and look at all the casualties. I don’t know if we can truly win this war.
-
Well we just started fighting you can’t give up hope. We’ll stop this. I’ll crawl through the abyss itself it that’s what it takes!
-
Hey wait up! *Cell is seen panting as he catches up with the paladin* A field trip isn’t fun if you haven’t gotten anyone to go with!
-
It’s not a field trip cell. And we aren’t going yet, there’s things we need to do first. *I grab a shovel.* We killed these people so we should at least have the respect to bury them.
-
*Watches curiously and replicates the Paladin’s action* I’ll do that, could you go check on that burger place for me real quick? Let ‘em know it’s safe?
-
Sure, I’ll let them know it’s ok... for now.
-
*Visibly frowning as he puts the body of a young man in his 20s, his arm bloodied and his face struck with a bullet hole, into a dug grave* So when we holding this raid against this essence we’re fighting?
-
*Starts helping you and Sighs deeply.* We don’t even know what it is yet. We just killed 900 because of something that we don’t even know what it is! *I stab my sword into the ground out of rage, and it goes down all the way to the hilt.*
-
I killed the most people out of all of you... Djura was right man. “Just remember, these aren’t beasts that you’re killing.”
-
We all killed someone here. We all thought we were doing what was right.
-
Like you said we need hope. We will do whatever we can.
-
*I look over to my sword which looks like this* This weapon was only meant to be wield by those worthy of it, so I must be somehow. It just doesn’t feel that way right now.
-
You thought that you were doing the right thing. No one can fault you for that.
-
Edited by John Watson: 5/29/2019 1:06:57 AMThat is true but still we are supposed to protect the innocents not kill them, no matter what we think is the right thing. I can’t help but feel guilty. *I take the sword out of the ground and study it, wiping off the dirt.*
-
*I walk to you guys and start helping.* I assume as soon as we get a definite location.
-
We should set up a defense point here while we raid, just in case they attack again....
-
Cell I don’t think we will be able to leave soon. Everything the probe I sent detected was... horrific. We also don’t know anything about the area other than cold and magical.
-
Ha, guess it’s just like Darkspire amirite? Think we should find some more help?
-
Probably. But at least in Darkspire we had someone who knew what we were up against.
-
Listen, I know a certain detective that can help us get to the bottom of this.
-
Who’s that?
