Blueshift dreams on 1k voices would look pretty cool.
If I had 1k voices, that is.
-
Why would you want a pink crimson or a blue one thousand voices it would not fit the game having shaders for exotics
-
-
The only reason they won't do it is because it devalues eververse loot.
-
Agreed as you can shader exotic armour why not weapons
-
Bump. 👍😊
-
People assuming ornaments and shaders are mutually exclusive because they haven't seen recluse or gambit prime weapons.
-
Edited by LocalCrow: 5/26/2019 5:14:42 PMBecause then they would have to put effort in designing ornaments. But Bungie could still sell ornaments if they focused on making the gun look different enough to matter, and add different visuals or even sounds, making the gun even more unique.
-
F*ck that. I want all weapon shaders removed. Bungie has gotten lazy with weapon design because sHaDeRs mAkE gUn lOoK cOoL eNoUgH
Side note: they don’t make the weapon look cooler than an intricate design
I would at least like to put shaders on the exotics.
-
Which is crazy because if you have a primary exotic equiped when you preview a shader, it gets colored too.
-
While they're at it, they might as well let us put mods on them too. I see no reason why I can't put mods on my exotic weapons.
-
Too hard to make content.
-
Shaders and mods
-
Precursor vex chrome looks so good on the last word
-
I said this once only differently, and I got a lot of hate. You got my vote all the way.
-
Technically, you can see this being possible when you preview a shader from the inventory menu, after selecting the fourth box. It does look pretty cool as an overlay color.
-
Because Eververse sells ornaments for exotic weapons. Want your favorite exotic weapon to look unique ? Fork over some silver.
-
But then you couldn't have questionable paid drones like Paul Tassi insisting we can feel good about paying 700 silver for 2 weapon skins... "I like this because it feels less like you are having money extracted from your wallet as you chase a drop or try to grasp at power, but rather like you’re rewarding Bungie for a job well done. With the Whisper and Outbreak quests in particular, those were added to the game in the middle of nowhere as completely free additions. And if you’ve played either of them, you know that they required a lot of work to design. As such, I think it’s a good option to be able to have a win-win purchase option at the end of your successful run. I get a cool looking skin for a gun I just worked really hard to get, Bungie gets $8-18 for their efforts. "

Meh, I’m okay with exotics not taking shaders and only getting ornaments. Makes it so we can actually appreciate the thought and design into them. I mean, with have thousands of other weapons to put shaders on... having some curated ones is good for the pool.
-
Wouldn't that nullify the most of the very creative ornaments Bungie has made for exotics already?
-
one answer to this HELL YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Do you think bungie even listens to these? Serious question, I don’t think they do
-
I wanna put shaders ON shaders.
-
I’m still waiting for the shader system to be revamped. While it should still be a 4 colour shader system, you should unlock individual colours, textures and patterns and use them to build you own shaders. A special shader screen where you select each of your 4 colours/textures/shaders from what you’ve unlocked in an order of your choosing and save that selection as a new shader set under a custom name.

God yes
