Well, it was VERY refreshing compared to all the bad and fast paced movies like Aquaman. It gave a good slow pace to the movie so that we can learn the characters and get to like them. It was nice to finally have a break from British ladies I must say. Nothing wrong with them, it just seems it is overdone.:Star Wars last transformers, etc... It was nice not to have a super overly explosive world ending movie like all the other transformers movies. It's area was small and centered around a few people, making it more balanced and easy to understand. The action was detailed, dramatic and really got me on the edge of my seat. The plotline was the best I've seen in a while! It was family friendly and funny, but not too cheezy at all. Being a Transformer fan sense the first movie I can honestly say this is probably my favorite one yet, and I hope they continue down this path. I know this is a late review in both time, well and time, but here it is anyway.

The trailers made it look like the typical MB garbage. It did nothing to make me interested.

I preferred Aquaman but Bumblebee was good nonetheless, much better than the previous 4 films from Michael Bays series.

I liked it a lot.

It was pretty good. I liked that all the auto bots had the classic 80s appearance. Although the two main decepticons looked more like they belonged in the modern Transformers.

I'm a huge transformers fan thanks to the movies and growing up with them but I never actually saw this. I do wanna remedy that, I may redbox it tonight and buy it if I like it a lot

A friend recommended it to me, and I thought it was okay. I loved the Generation 1 Transformer designs, the cast ( especially Hailee Steinfeld ), I also preferred Bumblebee’s director to Michael Bay because the action scenes were followable for once. But aside from those points, something felt a little bit off about the film. I think the movie was too ‘small scale’ so it was lacking in the Big Box Office stakes. I’m also not a big fan of Bumblebee the Transformer itself, so maybe that’s why I wasn’t fully into it. Or maybe I’m just suffering from Transformers fatigue. I could appreciate the film on a mechanical level, but I felt nothing watching it.

They didn't have that. I plan on seeing this eventually, but I'm in no hurry.
