Bungie, no more money for you
I love the Outbreak ornaments.
I really want the arc emotes.
The Eververse ornaments, in general, are some of the coolest looking items in the game.
But, you aren't getting one penny.
Why?
You still haven't removed cores from infusion.
You take the nerf approach as much as possible.
There is very little new content to play. The Nine bounties were cool, but they were just ways to get players to play recycled and boring content. Where are the story missions? New ones. Just so stale.
That spring event? I like that you used the forest, except it was a daytime version of the Haunted Forest. Oh. And you disabled the helmet ornaments.
So, no more money from me. Just one guy, but I wanted you to know.

I don’t want to send the message “Look at me I got this because I have money”, I wan t to say “I earned this. I pushed on, persevered and I [i]DID IT.[/i]” or “I’ve been here since day 1. I have gone through things you could not imagine.”

I will do it for games that I really like, and D1 was one of my all time favorite games. With Destiny 2 I haven't spent one single cent in the Eververse. Not one!!! I never will either. Too many times, this game insults me.

Warmind - fire calmed down a little 4. Forsaken - decent, however alot of the inner workings and systems are just D1 with lipstick on 5. Black Armory - throw balls 6. Jokers Wild - gambit if you like it? 7. Penumbra - taking all your toys and throwing them into the dumpster fire. Granted its not all bad, but forsaken was a great step foward, back to D1 style systems...which shouldnt be praised...sequels are supposed to build on previous games. We got a pig with lipstick but people ate it up. Moving forward for me, im done. Enhancement cores suck, gameplay isnt as exciting as other games ive played. I can find better gun play in Doom, or Halo 5. Ha i guess its just sour grapes from me. With all that being said for those who will keep playing, I hope they have a blast, I just finally think this game drained me of joy.

So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

3 RepliesSame. Didn't feel inclined to buy things from the store, but now it's more an active avoidance. I ain't coughing up 5+ bucks for a skin, that's ridiculous. And as a whole I'm not only not inclined to support them post-AP content, I'm moving on and never touching anything of theirs from there on out. It's been well over four years now and it seems they not only haven't learned, they openly refuse to learn. So, I openly refuse to support them indefinitely. Shit on your good will, you lose out on customers because you are too arrogant to concede your silly little "vision" for a game that they don't seem to know what they want it to be. D1 was a learning experience, but D2 is just an overpriced continuance of them just putzing around. Not tolerating that any longer.

I don't appreciate that Bungie spends their resources to stock up the eververse store while vanguard/crucible packages are anemic in their offerings. Edit: To clarify, I enjoy the game otherwise (minus the nerfs and the occasional Bungie deception tactic).

1 ReplyI really hope not. So tired of the same recycled gear that’s released and labeled new content. The sad thing is, we all know what Destiny 3 will be. More of the horrendous annual/season pass and stripping all our gear away just to reintroduce it for a 3rd time as new content. Here’s your Last Word for a 3rd time. Here’s your Thorn again.... Here’s your Ghalahorn again... here’s your Mida Tool for a 3rd time.... WotW again.... Sigh... I’d really like to see them get away from the whole concept of reintroducing old weapons and armor. If people really want this stuff, they should maybe add a Legacy tab where you can re-purchase and acquire weapons you already had in D1 and D2.... what’s the point of this reparative recycled content over and over.... Its literally taking the fun right out of the game and erasing any time spent getting the weapons in the first place. But hey, Bungie will screw Destiny 3 all up, just like they have been doing for 5 years now. I seriously don’t think they even play their own game, nor read anything in these forums. The Development team and decision makers at Bungie have no concept of what the game is or can be... It’s incredibly disheartening to see the same mistakes and poor judgment being made time and time again. You’d think Bungie would have finally learned after 5 years of continuous trial and error.... repeating the same mistakes over and over and over.... I for the life of me can’t figure out how it’s so difficult for them to take constructive criticism and use the ideals provided in there’s forums. I’ve read hundreds upon hundreds of posts and threads on here that have provided amazing ideals and new concepts that would make the game amazing. Yet, Bungie just does nothing.... and the worst thing of all, is the horrendous communication they provide or lack thereof... It’s just deafening silence week after week, month after month.... With no clear direction or concept of the game.... sigh... I digress... add this post to many thousands that go unread by Bungie....

We all know Bungie will do this by the end of D2, so why waste the money now? Same reason I haven't messed with IB in a while.
