I reinstalled D1 this morning, deleted 2 of my 3 characters and if I need a Destiny Fix, I guess I'll be going back through all of the D1 stuff. And honestly, it's been a long enough period since I've played it, that it doesn't feel entirely familiar. I don't know WHAT happened between D1 and D2 (different code, different engine) but it ain't rose colored glasses as far as how D1 FEELS. It just FEELS better to me. I'll pop back in D2 to check out some of the Season of Opulence but I'll be spending my Destiny time in D1 for the most part.
