Hey, this is an honest question Bungie, I don’t mean any harm with asking this. Why is it that the artistic direction is just so.. uninspired to put it mildly? It’s so bland and frankly bad. I don’t feel good saying that. Not one bit, but the art team really is faltering if they think they’re doing a good job with these newer items at times. I mean it’s bad most of the new ghost shells look like duplo blocks equivalence to the original ghost shells from destiny 1, and the armor for the most part looks ugly. But seriously a ship you could’ve easily just reskinned from the nano Phoenix (one of the rarest rewards ever in destiny 1 and I’m lucky to even say I got it), and instead make it looks just like dog shit. Maybe that’s harsh I don’t mean it to be bad, but.. it’s bad like really bad. I would rather grind for a splatter contemporary art piece than this garbage truck ship. It just pains me to see some of the most amazing armor designs from destiny 1 and very few, like a handful I can count on my hand, armors from destiny 2 just seem to disappear. Why is it that most of these things are just not even unique in the right way? Honestly the NPCs get better armor than us! (Looking at uldrens new design and Petra’s/Mara) it’s sad when you see most of the same armor sets just slightly mixed and matched now a days. Please guys you gotta bring your damn A game this season, especially with the absolutely atrocious balancing choices going forward. P.S. I know no one wants reskins but I feel for this it’s okay. Agonarch karve and nano Phoenix are among some of the most rare items back in destiny 1. Giving players a way to obtain a version of them would be fair in my opinion, so I exclude them from the stop doing reskins argument.
