I take a look at the reckoning. That activity was built around people being able to reuse there supers. It is still a challenging activity for most but for the best players with the right team it is a breeze. So I can I understand why they would nerf the exotics that give back supers instantly. They will probably be nerfed into the ground though.
Whisper is the nerf I dont understand. It makes the sniper not worth it anymore. All the hard work for so many players and now its useless. That hurts the most.
Spades I understand because on pc spades is better than Luna.
Sleeper is most likely because of the activity they are introducing or the raid boss.
I don't agree with any of these things but I am trying to see it from there perspective. I will wait to see what season of opulence(nerfs) has to offer them make my judgment.
One thing I dont understand from bungie. Why didnt you release some sort of good news along side the nerfs? You knew how the community would respond. You should have said that you were buffing many other exotics and showed us a trailer for opulence to calm the community. But no, u just dropped major negativity on the community and more people just quit your game.

Edited by Zer0: 5/20/2019 1:59:49 PMBungie's perspective is that we've hit the ceiling of power and they need to nerf the top gear in the game. I'd accept that only if there aren't any other options to create challenging content (I don't). I can accept tuning items, even a nerf here and there, but the sleeper and whisper nerfs leave the weapons with no identity. It would be easier to accept save for the lack of other interesting exotics. I have no attachments to most of the exotics in the game. I am guessing many players might also be in that position, but I can only speak for myself. I want challenging content too. Nerfs are not how I want the challenge delivered or maintained. I do applaud your attempt to put yourself in their shoes.
