I come from a town where Islam is not talked about. It's only a name on the international news, and we all know why that is. So I grew curious through highschool, and I began to read about Islam after graduation.
The more I read, the more it made sense to me and how my life had been shaped. And I learned how different Islam actually is compared to how it's portrayed.
