Bad Report Follow Ups
Dear Bungie,
Please fix your freaking report responses, I have a friend of mine who is very sweet and doesn’t know anything about hacking or cheating of any kind.......... But because of your poor report follow ups, I.E checking in to check the legitimacy of reports. My friend has been temp banned from gambit and crucible, because of sweaty douchebags who report just to get the other person removed from the match....... And most recently she was wrongly accused of cheating in comp and has been stripped of her glory rank and temp banned because of the lack of care you guys show in your report checks. Please fix your report follow ups and actually check them before you strike the ban hammer down on somebodies head.

this is a problem with "games as a service". gives them the right to tell you " no you cant use the product you paid for".

5 RepliesThey don’t ban people for fun. They always check the legitimacy of the reports. If she wasn’t cheating then I’m sure it was a connection issue. I’m sure she is running on WiFi instead of hardwire. She may feel like she isn’t lagging but on other players screen it may look different. Please have her upgrade her internet, use an Ethernet cable and/or wait out her ban. Posting on here is rather useless.

Lag ruins the game for all parties involved. I’m sorry this happened to your friend but like she said below, she lags during storms, so I guess don’t play pvp during storms idk. I should also add that people sometimes could be lagging for no real reason. It’s really annoying that bungie doesn’t have better servers. She got lucky with a temp ban, as some people are perma banned for just lagging once. Also, she didn’t lose her comp rank, she still has 1134 glory.
