Seriously Bungie this is a little ridiculous. I do my absolute best to play devils advocate and remember that the game needs to be BALANCED or everything will be way too easy. The power fantasy becomes a bore when you melt everything in seconds. But this is STUPID! Whisper of the Worm in particular was fine, zero change needed. But now it has LESS ammo reserves than DARCI with LESS DPS potential and LESS DAMAGE OVERALL. Really? And the super regen Exotics? All being nerfed, well what about unused and vaulted Exotics? Eternal Warrior, Ashen Wake, ALL THE AEON ARMOR, Armamentarium, KHEPRIS HORN, Verity’s Brow, VESPER OF RADIUS, Winter’s Guile, GRAVITON FORFEIT, Sealed Ahamkhara Grasps, Frost-eez? Nothing but nerfs. Come ON Bungie, the game isn’t going to be happy about diversifying if you only nerf the good stuff into the ground so EVERYTHING sucks! Edit: how should these Exotics be buffed? Eternal Warrior should grant an overshield after rapidly defeating multiple enemies with melee. Ashen Wake should grant Grenade energy depending on enemies killed with grenade. Not just Fusion grenades either. Armamentarium needs to work with LMGs and reload more ammo more often, maybe the entire mag for LMGs. Khepris Horn needs a MASSIVE AOE flame effect when casting a Barricade, a WALL of flame that annihilates everything in the way. Veritys Brow needs to be entirely reworked, because it’s basically a reskinned Nezarecs sin, Vesper of Radius needs a buff similar to Khepris where the arc explosion has the Radius and almost the damage of Landfall. Winters Guile and Wormgod Caress need timers active as long as Combination Blow and need to restore some melee energy on melee kills. Graviton Forfeit needs to Grant D1 shadestep, no melee regen, no reloading, pure mobility with a 3 second cooldown. Frost eez need to grant energy slightly faster and the sprint after dodging should be NOTICEABLY faster. And Sealed Ahamkhara Grasps need to grant a second melee charge while granting melee energy from weapon kills.
