I think it would work better with buffing weak exotics and legendaries in pve and making the raid bossrs harder to kill.

2 RepliesWe went back to the board and looked at everything and said 'Hey, here are a couple weapons we feel like are in a really good spot' and by 'really good spot' they're kind of hot. They're probably too hot for d2. In d1 people would said (probably correctly), that means nerf those things. They're nails that are sticking up out of the board, and we would have hammered them in to be even with the board. For this update, we did the opposite. We said 'these things are kind of hot. Lets bring everything else to them' so we started raising each thing up whether it be in PvE or PvP Direct quote from a year ago And please OP, less shouty.

Bungie: So hey guys I heard you like us to give back communication early, so we did. We instead want to show about IB being the last IB. Anyways onto the important hate, I mean Communication. We are nerfing 3-4 exotic weapons and 3-7 exotic armors. So goodbye to your build choices that were "manditory" when we could add more stuff that do about the same or better. And maybe make diverse exotics instead of basic give super ones... Also Tr3-v0r is pretty cool ey? Want to wear him? Use discount N3RF to get the shirt for less. We n3rf out stuff harder than our pricetag. Did I mention IB Iron Burden kills are this only week of this season to show off to nobody cares.

There are issues with how well some of these exotics are working, after the adjustment...things will be working as intended.

1 ReplyI think the second worse TWAB is when they announced Not Forgotten was getting nerfed a weapon actually worth the title of Pinnacle because it takes so much effort to get, but I guess that's just from the point of view of someone who put in many hours into comp, and not that of bad devs who cant fix prominent issues within the game on console such as Bloom, aim assist and recoil that made the use of Luna/NF a must for consistency in pvp on console. PC doesn't have that issue so the meta has diversity, also don't get me started on why Mag howl was completely fine because the whole it's to prevent 2 taps is bullshit to get 2 tapped you need to have the right scenario which does not happen that often when competing against other skilled players, and so what if you get 2 tapped Duke MK.44 with rampage/kill clip can 2 tap so why don't you nerf that. If 2 tapping is the issue then why have the possibility in the first place.

No. Not saying this one isn't bad, it is. But the Valentine's Day Abomination of 2017 was ten times worse. Well, five anyway. With this, players will mutter potty words for awhile about what just got nerfed, then dig around in their vaults and pull out a DARCI or a special sniper or a cluster rocket launcher or whatever's good now. The basic structure of the game will stay the same. With the Valentine's Day Abomination, it was no longer possible to choose two supplementary weapons in PvP, because your special became useless trash the first time you died. You had to rely completely on your primary, so if you were fond of a close-in handcannon or a long range heavy scout, you were frequently a sitting duck at certain ranges. The only alternative was a sidearm, or an Ice Breaker if you could get one.

7 RepliesI’m trying to complete quest step “from mouths of babe” I have to complete the “the stuff of myth”. I got the 100% wins, but it’s saying I need to reach “fabled rank” I’m heroic 2 in competitive PvP but I still haven’t completed the quest. Do I need to rank up quick play pvp as well? I just started playing this game after not playing it since launch so I’m really behind and kinda lost.

43 RepliesTWAB is good imo. Forum people are overreacting as usual. They designed all these armor and weapon, but some are too powerful so most of the others never see daylight. It was a mistake to make some items too powerful to begin with, but now they are trying to fix it. Actually they are forced to fix it, because the power of these weapons are making it really hard for them to design new content. Reason > SHOUTING

The nerfs coming are the step in the right direction, This is as a result of our own greed for power, we as a community have kept on asking for buff after buff after buff, to stuff that still genuinely needs it, and it has lead us to this point where any more buffs would result in a trivial raid/endgame experience. Remember when VoG hard mode was legit hard? Remember when you came up against warpriest and gjallarhorn wasn't the answer. A genuine challenge is missing from the game due to absurd amount of power at our disposal. Want a group of adds permanently controlled? Rigs has your back. Need to drop the equivalent of a tactical nuke on an absolute unit? Angry dead wish dragon says 'move a side'. Then before you can blink, they are ready for round 2, 3, 4... I don't agree with nerfs right now due to fact it seems bungie has no buffs planned for other pieces of gear so... Am i expected to use sturm? Or sweet business? The best way to let Bungie know you don’t like their decision making abilities and disagree with the direction the game is heading, just stop playing the game entirely. Zero, nada, zilch, nothing, none, nope, never.... Put down the controller and don’t play for a week or two, or indefinitely! Just stop playing, the player base numbers will dwindle away and Bungie will realize what they are doing, maybe.... 🙄 Just don’t buy the next annual/season pass and stop playing the game immediately... #EndGameDestiny #EndGameBungie
