I like to save up 10 and turn them in all at once. That way you at least get 1 or 2 cool things.

That’s not a guaranteed way to get a cool item since the seasonal engrams aren’t on a knockout system. And saving when hotfixes roll out can interfere with mailboxes items

Agreed, I know it doesn't increase the likelihood of getting something cool, or change the RNG at all. It's more that if every 8th or 9th engram gives something neat (I'm making up these numbers) instead of being disappointed 1 engram at a time until I get something on my 8th or 9th, I save 10 to do all at once and usually get something... hope I've explained it better this time. Could you explain more about saving during hotfixes? I'm on Xbox if it matters, I thought the saving was automatic...

If you wanna think about it this way. Stuff in the mailbox isn’t a permanent inventory like the vault is. Since items in there can be pushed out by other items entering it’s technically temporary storage. Hotfixes mess with temporary storage more than perma storage just because of it being temp storage. Doesn’t matter if you are on console or pc.
