And I had them for a short time. Did I do well in trials of the nine? hell no, I'm trash. But it was part of the game I bought. The MAIN thing I wanna talk about though, is faction rallies. Bungie spent months changing and modifying faction rallies, and the last one they had was difficult, but felt good. Cool effects, and a means to make the game harder and a bit of a gamble. Do you just get 1 stack of faction thingy? Or do you go for all 5 and make yourself hella weak, for the reward of faster faction rep gain? I want that back. I know people want general faction stuff available all the time, and hell, maybe start doing random Y1 stuff at the vendors for the time being, while working on Y2 (or Y3) stuff for factions. New armor/ornaments, new weapons, etc. I'm not the sort of person to ever say "I paid x dollars for this game and I demand my money's worth", but in this situation, we actually HAD what we were promised, and it has been gone for almost a full year now. Bring it back, please. D2's day-to-day content is getting to be repetitive, and every 3 weeks, I avoid talking to Saladin because he wants me to play a laggy spammy 6v6 control match against tryhards all so I can get some lackluster fusion rifle. Faction Rallies impacted the whole solar system, and now it's no wonder people just spend enough time doing a flashpoint, and then never touching any planets for the rest of the week. I remembered finding the first loot farm place on nessus, and spent time there feeling good and productive. I remember going to different places on each planet, exploring, and finding cool bits of detail added, but now that all the rewards are lame, and the general planet stuff is dry, I see no need to adventure anymore. This went from faction rally rant to a general one, but I think a number of us feel the same way, at least as far as the vanilla players go. Please bring back the content that was promised when I bought D2 in the first place. Half the tower is empty meaningless NPCs that you don't ever need to talk to anymore. You can change that, so please do it.
