Would keeping Luna/NF tied to comp only be an alternative solution in stead of a nerf?
I'm wondering what the community would think of keeping these pinnacle comp pvp weapons tied to comp only playlist be a good way of addressing the issue of getting stomped in quickplay by comp only achievable weapons?
Comp playlist is made for players who want and can be the best PVP players, while quickplay is meant to be a casual, fun, non sweaty pvp experience. If those pinnacle comp weapons could only be used in that playlist, then I don't think a nerf is needed on those guns. I don't think they need to be locked out of PVE but for other casual PVP activities (incl. Gambit) they need to be locked out.
The best players who earned them can still use them in their intended playlist but it would keep quickplay from being dominated by the the best players with the best guns.
The best players will still stomp on everyone even with other guns but players without those guns wouldn't be so focussed on those guns alone and asking for a nerf to even out the playing field.
Curious what the community thinks of this? Because I'm sick of nerfs at the moment. Even though I don't have Luna of NF (yet, maybe one day), I don't agree with them being nerfed. Even though I do get stomped on by these guns. They are pinnacle weapons which to my understanding of the word pinnacle should mean they are the best in their respective class.
