Pve centered weapons get nerfed due to pvp imbalance: "dude just adapt man its easy.
Pvp centered weapons get nerfed due to pvp imbalance: "YOU'RE RUINING THE GAME BUNGIE I'M QUITING I'M QUITING I'M QUITING!!!!11".
The freaking irony.

Yeah, cause its so tough to shoot bots and get literally ANY of the PvE weapons. They dont deserve to be as good as Luna or any of the pinnacle weapons. I doubt your lame, hamburger, pve potato ass has spent any time in comp so you wouldnt understand the time commitment cause they dont actually make you commit any time to get the pve guns, but some people grinded for this for 3 seasons only to have it be nerfed. The day they make your potato ass do anything remotely challenging to get a pve gun, then you may have the beginnings of an argument, til then just stay off the forums and shit the -blam!- up
-
And yet, no matter how many times you get a weapon that even seems slightly overpowered, you crucibabies rant and rave about balancing, but only when it suits you. See, the truth is,I genuinely don't care about the crucible or competitive. Bungie could remove it today and I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over it. But if you want an overpowered weapon, then by all means, use whatever crap you want to indulge in. Its no skin off of my nose. But deep down you know that no matter how fun or interesting a weapon or armour piece might be, the crucible and its neophytes will always drag everything down to the lowest common denominator. It wasn't pve players who asked for luna's howl or not forgotten to be nerfed. Why would having more powerful weapon choice affect us? Its your ilk that caused this, not us.

*PvP weapon gets nerfed due to pve player crying about it There I fixed it
-
PvE players don't do PvP, that's the point of the definition of being a PvE player.
-
PvP players play pve just as pve players play PvP thing is they mainly play one mode and pve players are the ones complaining most of the time
-
Dude, you either are new to this franchise or you have real bad memory. 99% of all the nerfs in this franchise came from the PvP'ers whining about meta weapons that they just can't get or counter in PvP. This nerf is exactly the same situation. Don't blame PvE players for this, as they don't give a shit about PvP. As a matter of fact the vast majority of them would applaud if PvP was completely removed from this game.
-
An actual PvP player doesn't whine about them
-
Of course they do, they've been doing it for 4,5 years. Everyone that's been here since 2014 knows that. Well, maybe except you.
-
I originally joined at wolves forgot about the game after TTK and bought a PS4 bought D2 and made a new account and the people who whine are often not very good at pvp
-
Edited by CookieNiki: 4/28/2019 3:42:16 PMThere's good, average and bad PvP'ers. They're all still PvP players though and they are the ones whining about losing in PvP against meta weapons. It has always been like that in this franchise. PvE players don't ask for nerfs in PvP because: 1- They barely play PvP enough to care about it; 2- They already were severely screwed too many times when PvP'ers whining for nerfs turned most of the great weapons into a joke in PvE; 3- Vex Mythoclast, Gjallarhon, Trust, Mida, Sleeper, Hawkmoon, Icebreaker... should I continue? All these weapons were nerfed in PvE because of PvP and it's sure as hell no PvE player asked for that... EVER! As they are not asking for this Luna nerfs either.
-
Thinking sleeper was good DPS after forsaken Ha also pve player asked nerfs 1ikelos 2 literally any quest with PvP in it 3 game journalists saying refill exotics should be nerfed and a lot of people agreeing seriously wtf 4 wardcliff 5 Whisper 6 thunderlord (No joke I've actually seen people call these nerfs saying the weapons are overused) 7 pve players going into crucible because they "need" to do the powerful and literally being annoyed at every weapon if Luna's howl is only a problem to PvP players why are so many pve players saying it's a good thing
-
The funny thing with that list is that for the most part, those nerfs don't affect pvp in any tangible way. Their either deductions in ammo counts for heavy (because who runs around with max heavy ammo in pvp), or they reduced the damage to bosses/vehicles. The only exception is ikelos/threat level, but I could also turn that argument around by saying that the buffs to the other shotgun archetypes was due to pve. I mean, I am going by your logic after all. Also, regarding the fact that pve players are made to tread through that crap. Most of the time, we'll just do the task that's needed and leave the crucible alone. Like I have said, most of the time, we don't want most weapons to be nerfed. Only when it is sensible and due to strict pve balancing will it ever be acceptable.
-
PVE players don't play crucible.
-
Seen as you are all complaining about Luna being op you do
-
No. PvE players don't care about Luna's. The people who play PvP and paid for Luna's but still suck got it nerfed.
-
No PVE weapon required the time and dedication to get Luna's or NF. Especially NF.
-
Try asking the people who aren't Rivensbanes because 1K hasn't dropped for them yet.
-
That is a drop, not a grind. If you’re “grinding out” the raid 1000 times, if it doesn’t get easier, that’s your problem. Getting to Fabled and DEF getting to Legendary in Comp is not even a comparison in difficulty. Due to RNG, the time may vary. And is 1K really like Ghorn in D1, where people exclude people if they don’t have it? You have an abundance of builds and heavies to use other than that.
-
For the people who can actually get to 5500 in Comp, they will do it every season like it's nothing. That's why people pay them to reach that rank on their own accounts, because it's a guarantee. If doing the Raid hundreds of times to get a particular weapon isn't a grind, then I don't know what is. I'd also like to point out that the RNG will vary for you in Comp. You could play stacked sweats in every match and never win, or you could play new people who are doing the 2 Competitive Matches for a quest that Shaxx gives you in The Farm.
-
Now that is extremely wrong cus unlike raids this isn't ai and patterns every match can be completely different in crucible depending on the enemy teams strategy class subclass and weapons
-
I can accurately predict that every team in Comp right now will be using grenade spam, mostly Skip Grenades with Shinobu's Vow and Suppressor Grenades. As for weapons, a very high likelihood of Dust Rock Blues, Luna's Howl/Not Forgotten and Wardcliff Coil. That's what the meta is, stuff you can reliably expect people to be using.
-
Now here's the thing in comp you constantly encounter Luna's yes but that's only half you'll also encounter erentill le monarch jottun wavesplitter that fusion from scourge of the past trust And as for kinetic Ace is more common than dust rock since they'll use any shotgun so specifically ace is more common blast furnace TLW chaperone arbalest now and snipers grenade spam is only here now so that doesn't really count
-
Not when you’re going for legend. You’re playing against people who are also up there in Glory rank. And the people who get it every season would be less than 1% I would imagine. How many Unbrokens vs Rivensbane have you seen? Bottom line: a raid after your 100th completion is easy. PVP never is to that degree. People complete raids like they’re public events, so I don’t wanna hear about a grind. Not to mention glory resets so if you’re NOT god-tier, you have to grind all the way up for it again if you didn’t manage to get it the previous season. Not even a comparison. Side note: that’s why Bungie upped the RNG for the gun. Now what if you grinded out 1000 raids for it to see it get nerfed? That’s the point. You grind for the gun because it’s really good.
-
If you played the Vault of Glass on hard mode when it first came out, then you would know the pain of acquiring the Mythoclast.
-
That isn't d2
