I can understand the change to Mag howl damage, but changing to a 150?
You’re making a big mistake and I guarantee this will be the last straw for a lot of dedicated players, myself included who worked their butt off to get their NF.
This change in particular is crapping on ALL console players where bloom on HC’s is a big issue.
Bad, bad move.

That basically made me uninstall that game today :D don't take me wrong, I'm not that much angry, but when I remember how hard I worked and how much time I spent getting luna in the first season it came out. I suddenly lost interest in playing a game, where these kind of nerfs happen. If the nerf needs to happen (although I don't see why, there are still many weapons that can counter luna) just give the perk a cooldown...
-
5 RepliesI couldn't believe it when I read it. Nerfing Luna and NF?! What the actual hell bungie?!! I don't think I've ever, ever gotten so mad at you, but come the effing f on!!! I think you might have pushed me away from Destiny for good. I'll just have to see if this nerf actually goes through.
-
The change looks very fair on paper. Lets see when it goes live. Currently 180s are way to easy to use. Add howl perk and a nerf was needed. Good move on bungies part snd i think it will help sandbox and player participation.
-
Perfect move, been waiting for this, 150 is perfect speed for those two guns, perfect balance
-
LMFAO now that’s the bungie I know. Told you they’d become paper weights.

3 RepliesEdited by Miofwin: 4/25/2019 11:40:19 PM150rpm but stil a PRESICION FRAME. The recoil pattern will be the same, it will just fire slightly slower. The same fire rate as Sunshot. Which is still fast.
-
5 RepliesDid you idiots think it would last forever? I bet you all thought you would grow old together with luna and NF sitting at a table at sunday dinner... that's not how it works, not anymore. (negan) lol
-
Should keep them as is in comp and IB and nerf them for QP.

19 RepliesEdited by yodas_buddy: 4/26/2019 8:56:38 AMI think it’s great they’ve done it tbh. It was unbalanced that the best players got the best time to kill and this will hopefully go some way to a level playing field which is competitive for all vs some players having a competitive advantage which couldn’t be countered by hard work and grinding but required glory or pay to win account recovery. I just hope the nerf is big enough to have the desired effect in the crucible so it becomes about skill vs the unfair advantage of pinnacle weapons.

Edited by Reclaimer: 4/25/2019 11:36:29 PMConsidering they’ll still maintain the recoil and accuracy attributes of precision HCs, the weapons got off easy. I’m still going to be in my corner discussing Adaptive/Four Burst Pulse Rifles and how these in particular are currently too strong for similar reasons, though. They’ve flown under the radar primarily because they haven’t gotten as much negative attention as the aforementioned weapons taking the spotlight. But they will take center stage soon enough.
-
Just like they nerfed shotguns, can see these guns not firing on trigger pull like auto shotguns do sometimes. Sometimes firiring there's a delay, and the RoF feel strange. Idk. We will see.
-
I Agree this Nerf is Bulls*it ! And will quit this game because of it
-
5 RepliesThis has got to be the biggest mistake they will make. How can they go and nerf these guns this badly. People had to work so hard to get the weapons and they go and do this. We get nothing for going for these weapons, and now there is no reason to use them. Console whiners are such a problem. Ruining good guns.
-
The problem on console is that there’s just so few weapons that can compete. They just need to make more weapons that can effectively counter and that are also accessible by everyone. Luna’s and NF should be good weapons but they shouldn’t be the only good weapons.
-
Yeah hide your Women and children and your recluse cause the crybaby casuals will come for that next
-
16 RepliesIt needed to happen. Both guns were way too prominent in Crucible, countering them was almost impossible. And you can still get Service Revolver which is basically a pseudo-Luna's Howl. So...y'know what?
Tough titties, my friend. Go play some Strikes.
-
Bending over for all the cry babies yet again.

Communism in a nutshell GG hahahaha

2 RepliesThis nerf needed to happen. Look, I have luna man. I'm actually down with using it as a 150 precision (which doesn't exist at all in the game, yo). I have done terrible....terrible things with my Luna. So much so that I would get flamed for it. Now, I have thick skin, but I eventually started feeling dirty using it. Because it is so strong. Because it's so easy to use. It was all I used for a while in comp. It never leaves my inventory. Ever. But I rarely put it on now, because I want to try new things. Now? It doesn't lose its lethality in the right hands. It's just not as easy to break the mold in the game. Now, I can pick it up again and cause some damage without feeling cheesy.
-
what's going to happen with the Recluse If they want to fix that Make easy to have the guns make to play en pvi and pvp Quickplay 6 reset in one quest in make little story for luna in not forgotten make play this people bungie
-
Wtf bungo, my Luna’s/NF... the extension of my flaccid lil ding -blam!- getting nerfed??? Now how am I supposed to prevent others in comp from getting pinnacle weapons with a gun I worked(paid) so hard to get when it fires slower??? I hate you bungie I hate you. I mean that’s why I came to the forums this morning. Lol jk I’m here for the salty tears
-
Not too mad about a meta shift but that's not really what this is. The thing I don't understand is why they are catering to people that don't like Crucible to begin with. Almost everyone who actually likes Crucible is capable of getting these guns with the recent changes to Glory ranking. And there's inevitably going to be another gun that people are going to complain about (please let it be a scout rifle pinnacle weapon). People complained about MIDA because it was too powerful. People complained about GL/VW. People complained about Bygones. I could see if the complaint was that these guns have been too powerful for too long but a lot of people just seem be to mad that they can't get them while doing their weeklies and eating a sandwich. And, in this forum at least, many of these same people are the ones that are constantly praying for Crucible to die. Oh well. Hopefully they come up with something else that actually requires more than one shot to kill, involves aiming, and rewards you for doing so. God forbid we actually have a gun that stands a chance against some of the over the top weapons and abilities that are in this game.
-
This just in: Bungie says -blam!- you to people who put in the time and effort to earn pinnacle weapons. Might as well just kiss my Recluse goodbye next since it's the next most common PvP pinnacle weapon people have. No sense in chasing them anymore when you have no choice but to use other guns. Talk about a total bummer. And I just got done commending them for their turnaround of D2. At this point, they'd do very well to eliminate the concept of pinnacle weapons because nobody in their right and rational mind will grind for something that's gonna get nerfed.

Great change the gun was too good
-
I'll be playing more than ever after this change occurs. About damn time they nerf this crutch bull shite.
-
Magnificent howl did need a change I agree. What they did is a change I didnt expect, but I am open to trying it out. The change to 150 is bad imho but I think it will help shed light that 180s are the dominant hand cannon. That was primarily the issue. LH and NF should stay as 180 and they should make the other HC archetypes more viable.
