I can understand the change to Mag howl damage, but changing to a 150?
You’re making a big mistake and I guarantee this will be the last straw for a lot of dedicated players, myself included who worked their butt off to get their NF.
This change in particular is crapping on ALL console players where bloom on HC’s is a big issue.
Bad, bad move.

For the life of me I cannot understand why the developers can not just bring other weapons up to the level of these pinnacle weapons. It’s like Bungie is afraid of variety.
-
4 RepliesDon’t worry the pay to win guns will still win. A more balanced crucible might bring some players back.
-
Had to be done, they are losing new players because of these weapons. As a Luna and Recluse user, I couldn’t care any less tho I am done with pvp in this game. It’s waste of time. If the new raid is good I’ll stay around next season but pvp is borefist. What do I get for winning matches? Nothing. What do I get for losing matching? Same as winning. This is the flaw of this game.

You've had a year on top. I think it's time that the playing field gets leveled again.
-
It’s still going to be very effective, but not as op as before. And as you love to say to us, adapt.
-
4 Repliesthose 150s kick to much on console, i dont care about magnificient howl nerf but 150 is not cool
-
Never had a problem with Luna or not forgotten . And I’m not one for nerfing anything. I’ve had so many guns nerfed to oblivion that were my favorites . Vex mytho Year 1 thorn Pocket infinity Last word Hawk moon man hawkmoon. And on and on. Luna was holding 10% in crucible it forced players to use it to compete and frankly that probably did more harm than the nerf will. We’ll have to see how things shake out . Not a good thing that bungie is doing but it’s not a surprise given bungies history of nerfing the shit out of everything.

I don't think leaving over this minor adjustment suggests you're a dedicated player, if anything it suggests the opposite. Hopefully the change brings players back to the Crucible, by cutting the cancer out so new cells can grow.
-
Heres a magical idea... Take Bloom off the other Hand Cannons so they measure up better. 🤷♂️
-
They don’t need a nerf on pc. Imo
-
Hopefully, It's recoil direction will be the same as 180rmp precision frame, but it'll fire slow at 150 rpm. If that's the case then 👍

1 ReplyI couldn‘t really bother to play in the last 2 months, played a few games here and there but i guess this is it. Sick and tired of this game changing to the worse everytime i come back on
-
1 ReplyRespectfully, and as someone who got his Luna’s, I disagree. These weapons are spam cannons; they’re too easy to use and they make nearly every other primary obsolete. I think this change will be healthy for the game.
-
3 RepliesIs it even a severe nerf? They are still going to be easter to use and more effective than normal 150’s, so I don’t see a big problem.
-
6 RepliesEdited by 에디-: 4/25/2019 11:08:53 PMjust NERF finally !! ty bungie :)))

We must wait to see if bloom will affect them.

17 RepliesAre you actually kidding me? Every one of you that has your luna’s, good on you for being able to obtain it. It’s not hard. NF? I worked my butt off for that weapon, just got it a few months ago, and now Bungie is doing this? You’ve just killed any shred of Destiny’s competitive aspect that it had left. First trials, now this. You should’ve stuck with halo. 343’s gonna have an influx of your Destiny players once Infinite comes out. I haven’t touched Destiny in at least 6 weeks because it’s monotonous, stale, and unenjoyable to me. I tried the revelry for an hour. Nice retexture of the same sht you did for the Halloween event. Turned me off instantly. No point doing it for an exotic weapon if it’s just being released into the loot pool. You couldn’t even rename the “Daemon’s.” And before the “just don’t play it then” replies come, you’re probably the lowlifes that complain about a weapon you’re literally too unskilled to achieve. So damn right I’m not playing it. Reading the twab this week was the nail in the coffin for me for this game. Bungie can’t stand up for ANYTHING they do, they’re sinking their own reputation with Destiny, and they’re forced to give in to whining little kids like the ones that made this nerf happen. See you on Halo Infinite.

1 ReplyEdited by Eriena: 4/25/2019 11:47:37 PM(I got no idea how to post can some copy and paste this and post it for me ty) Before you hate on me I just wanna state that I only play pvp in D2 I've put the time into both Lunas and nf so I'm not your random pve player hating for no reason.(console player btw) Look at d2s crucible there's so much wrong with it from the awful map design, console gunplay, game modes, crucible loot pool, terrible communication with the players and the crucible team n the lack of enjoyment you get from playing it. It really just seems like bungie don't care for pvp anymore such little has been done to it and most that has been changed has hurt it or it hasn't been the focus on what needs to be fixed. For example this talk of nerfing Lunas n nf by thowing it into the pool of unusable guns on console, instead of taking the time to fix the other console hc aka the needed 3 HEADSHOTS to kill someone with the best ttk recoil/animation for recoil(so you can see what you shoot) and bloom(so you can hit what you aim and shoot at without rng involved) they just yeet them two guns into that unusable weapon pool, this just show the lack of interaction with players and understanding of there own game and it's sad. Imagine they bring this same attitude towards d3s crucible we're just up for another disappointing n fustrating few years and personally I don't feel like getting mugged off again. So things have gotta change man send some youtubers and hardcore pvp players who's heart and soles are dedicated to crucible down to your crucible team to help set them on the right path so that my hopes and many other hopes for d2s and d3s crucible can change and maybe this talk of "D3 shouldn't have crucible" won't be around no more. Plus if changes are made itll benefit the game I'm 100% certain players will come back and start grinding. P.s I have many ideas on what I personally think can benefit the crucible so if you'd like my input(probs not) my email is. [REDACTED] Stupid ik email made it when I was 12.(not replying to toxic comments)

3 RepliesI’m just surprised, but not too surprised. Explain to me then, what has remained the same in all of the Destiny franchise?
-
they want to destroy the whole game only with this spring festival where only grenades are thrown and etz the nerf of the two handguns Luna / NF ... One has to say bungie knows how to destroy games
-
Edited by Elysium: 4/25/2019 11:46:31 PMPinnacle weapons are supposed to be good. Are we going to also change Recluse to 600 RPM since it's "too good"? -blam!- Bungie. I did my time in your cancer comp mode and now you're taking away the one reward I've been looking forward to since I started playing the game. Give any of these shit players complaining about Luna's one, I guarantee they will still be shit.
-
I have the Luna's and I thought the nerfs would never happen but I also realize. The weapon does not make the man. You guys are good and you will endure!
-
Why couldn't the nerf had just been to require "3" Precision Head Shots to Proc Magnificent Howl?!? Seriously...that would have made 10 times more sense... It would have required MORE SKILL to accomplish, and if you failed at landing that 3rd Head Shot, and either whiffed it or bodied someone, then you would be punished quite severely for it....in that Magnificent Howl would reset. Why can't we have THAT change?? I feel like the change to 150 RPM is actually going to require LESS skill, once again, on top of being an overall nerf to the weapon.
-
I have this gun and i think it did needed to get nerf but not as big a nerf, still i dont really use this gun anyways, there are alot of other good weapons to use, right now everyone is jumping on the train of Bygones for competative, so i think it will be a somewhat good change of pace, but good hand cannon users will stil go for it.
-
That basically made me uninstall that game today :D don't take me wrong, I'm not that much angry, but when I remember how hard I worked and how much time I spent getting luna in the first season it came out. I suddenly lost interest in playing a game, where these kind of nerfs happen. If the nerf needs to happen (although I don't see why, there are still many weapons that can counter luna) just give the perk a cooldown...
