I’m not a ‘core defender’, I think they should be removed from infusion and masterwork costs should increase with the ability to also rework masterworks. However, I think that everyone should just wait until the bounties have been introduced into the game before they continue with their incessant complaining. Bungie are taking action and so let’s this how it affects things and then offer feedback.

  • 1: You sound like a defender. 2: There are 2 bounty systems in place that don't get the job done. How is removing one of them and replacing it with another supposed to change things. Spiders bounties are ok for cores if you need a few. But useless in the aspect of gameplay as you spend over an hour farming them in activities that do not classify as end game or provide any progress towards power level increase. Players complain that being a casual player is frustrating trying to get anywhere due to the lack of cores and a way to get them that is complimentary to the usual activities. Hindering the path to meaningful choices because to only choice you have it infusing up a single loadout with no masterworks. The problem can be solved by reverting the system and removing from infusion. Or simply add them to loot tables. A core with every powerful gear. A core for any heroic level or higher event completion ( stories and strikes). A fifty fifty chance in public events, lost sectors and any wanted kills. There than simple. Adding an already existing item to loot table isn't difficult. Changing drop rates isn't either. They are both items Bungie is capable of altering in less than a week. So why hasn't it been done. Because they need as many people logged in as long as possible. It buffs performance stats on paper.

  • 1. You sound like an incessant moaner. 2. I’m not defending the core economy/system, just the fact Bungie are obviously taking action on it and that it’s tiring hearing whinging kids or immature adults stomping their feet because they aren’t getting exactly what they want. 3. Muted due to troll-like behaviour.

  • The bounty system isn’t a terrible idea, but it’s not enough in my opinion.

  • No I don’t think it will be either and the next step after that may be introducing core rewards to each daily and weekly milestone, a bit like how the Verdant Forest had core rewards for a daily. I do think that players who don’t get to play a lot should be able to use the things they like as their guardian is always likely in flux due to them maybe only completing a couple of milestones a week but I’m just tired of all the forum posts when Bungie have already stated their intentions. Like I said, I don’t think it will make it easier for the casual player to use what they want (this is the player I actually want to protect/keep playing) but it will for the medium player.
