It’s not going to affect me in any way but cores now don’t have an affect.

Easy to say when you only play 1 character.
-
I play all three, I just have all the high light weapons on my Warlock, the one I’m currently playing.
-
You have no masterworked armour or weapons.....
-
Why would I need to masterwork armor when it won’t benefit me that much? And I don’t need to masterwork all of my weapons, it’s not a requirement and it doesn’t do anything.
-
Because that's the point of cores lol.
-
So, I every weapon I get I should masterwork because “that’s the point of cores”?
-
They have a huge effect on the player base, wherever you like it or not.
-
And it affects them, how?
-
Please explain more your question.
-
What affect do cores have on the player base as you said
-
Have a look at a every single core post. The most upvoted one got to 1400 uovotes.
-
Why not just tell me yourself? You said they had an affect, what is it then?
-
It throttles progression and adds a useless and unfun grind to the game.
-
Cores aren’t that difficult to stock up on. Plus, there’s barley any activities out that require you to be at high light
-
Edited by CORE SwarmFIRE13: 4/25/2019 5:17:33 PMI have had this argument so many times it’s starting to get boring. Listen, there are activities that require high light. No, cores are not easy to get by and the grind to get them is not fun. People want them out because it’s simply not very fun to do extra grind to be able to use your favourite guns.
-
Cores are absolutely easy to get. I've never spent a single second out of my way trying to get cores. Never done a single bounty for cores that I wasn't already doing for another purpose. You fall ass backwards into cores simply by Playing the gMe.
-
Which activities require you to be such high light then? And even then, if you need to be higher light, instead of infusing just use the higher light gear you get until you get the cores to infuse.
-
Iron banner, gambit and reckoning. Thank you, you just described exactly the problem. People want to use there favourite weapons, not the trash rolled hard truths.
-
Iron Banner is around only once a month, Gambit sure, but then again that really only matter during invasions. And reckoning tier 3 is the only one you actually need to be such high light, you should already have high enough light for 1 and 2. And sure, you want to use your favorite weapons, but you can still use different armor instead of infusing every single gear you have immediately, especially when those tiny little light increases barley make a difference.
-
What does equipping different armour have to do with anything? Are you even listening to yourself.
-
Again, if you absolutely need to be at a higher light, there’s no need to keep infusing your current armor multiple times, you can use the higher light armor you get.
-
Yet if the weapons are low light, they deal less damage. Nice try, but no.
-
Then infuse the weapons light since you aren’t doing that for the armor. Besides, it’s not like a weapon being 5 or 10 levels below is going to make that much of a difference.
-
Hum hum and run armour with trash perks. You are just switching a annoyance for another. Nice try.

Oh no, how will I ever survive if I can’t get 2 extra shots for my shotgun in pve?!?!?!? How will I survive?!?!?!?!
