Remove enhancement cores from infusion (new)
Bungie remove cores dont give players more dull grind for this needless crap.

Everybody is so adamant about the enhancement cores. We need to get Bungie making new loot/and gear. We need Bungie to and a in-depth character progression system.

Diminishment cores are arbitrary and they are not meaningful or impactul in any way. Workaround: look like a scrub for 3 weeks while you do strike, crucible, and gambit weeklies. When those weeklies are done, go grind for gear or... go play outside? THEN! when max light gear starts dropping, take your 85 enhancement cores and start upgrading all your old gear. Problem solved. Also, Bungie really knows how to turn gold into -blam!-. They've got the brown touch.

11 RepliesPeople will cry about this forever and idk why. Scrapper bounties foxes cores. All of them can be done during normal play or by doing a side activity for about 5 mins. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it’s bad or broken.

59 RepliesYou know what might help with this cause? Posting threads with suggestions of what to replace it with. Destiny, as a loot game, is always going to have things to grind for, and they've had materials of some sort as part of infusion and gaining perks and whatnot since the start. So instead of just saying "GET RID OF CORES", try suggesting a reasonable replacement. Threads like these merely show a problem, not one considered universal, and one easily ganged on by the forum hive mind. Provide solutions and actual feedback and maybe...and I wouldn't hold my breath on it, Bungie seems intent on dying on this hill...they might listen. This thread is next to worthless as feedback.

Cores originally were an end game currency. They didn't serve any purpose other than to squeeze the last 5% out of your Guardian. A lot of people complained that there wasn't enough to do in the end game. Bungie replied by making levelling tied to Cores. They solved the lack of content by turning the whole of Destiny 2 into an "end game activity." Now you need cores to squeeze the last 95% out of your Guardian.

7 RepliesI think they should make us upgrade our weapons by using them, similar to D1. And if people are so bent on keeping cores use them to fully upgrade a weapon to a masterwork. If people want to use cores to skip the upgrading process of using the weapon then fine, let them. So in this process I'd get a new gun and I can upgrade it to level 9 by simply using it or if I wanted, I could use cores to upgrade then and there. Then once it's a level 9, I'd have to use cores to fully upgrade it to a level 10, a masterworked gun. This way, we won't use cores upgrading weapons we don't know if we really like if we didn't choose to. This also keeps the cores if people are so bent on keeping them and uses them in a similar sense people are use to. Keep the way in which we obtain cores the same as it is now, weekly clan rewards, random drop, scrapper bounties, etc. Oh and the new gunsmith bounties I've heard about should still be implemented as well. Thoughts?
