Seriously. Sometimes you stomp. Mercy the enemy team. Sometimes you get mercied. It almost never goes any other way. Iron Banner needs to be more incentivized as it is. No need for this frustration as well.

Edited by kellygreen45: 4/23/2019 8:24:56 PMBad game design. Because its one of the few areas of PVP that still has SBMM. Believe it or not. Bungie's Crucible team has the bad habit of designing games with major "snowball" mechanics that give winning teams even more advantages to open up an even bigger lead...... ....while not designing in any catch-up mechanics (like Destiny 1's heavy ammo drop) that allow a losing team (with skill) to fight their way back into a match. So games just get laughably one-sided at times. The "lockout" mechanic where you can lock down all three control points...and get a massive bonus to your score, while at the same time preventing anyone from retaking any point for a set time is an RIDICULOUS advantage to anyone operating as a team over a group of randoms. Pluse it incentivizes a style of play that there is no real way to counter. Where people just mob up and steam roll like Sonic The Hedgehog around the map. So you combine those two.....together....games get really lopsided really fast..... ...and the solo queue experience can get pretty miserable. Its why I stopped playing Iron Banner almost a year ago. It took an Iron Banner experience that had been bad, and questionably rewarding for most of Destiny 2....and made it absolutely intolerable.
