Can we Enable FIREWALL on strikes????
So.... I can enable firewall on the Forest but still cant run Strikes SOLO.....can we get this done already????

2 RepliesJust go into a nightfall with the settings you need. If you need grenade kills or melee kills go to your card and buff the melee or grenades with the respective Burn to make it faster

I would LOVE this. I mean, not all the time do I want to have to group with randos. There are times, but not all the time. This would be a nice feature.

23 RepliesI really wish this would be. Everyone wins here. The runners can run , the shooters can shoot , and the bountiers can bounty. And , no more troll for that 3rd slot when you only got 1 guardian/clan member with you to do them with. You can still matchmake if you choose to. There are no losers with this idea.

3 RepliesAside from the obvious that they want to make sure people aren't in matchmaking forever - the main reason they wont is for farming. PS4 - clock adjusting to spawn solo aside. Part of the reason they didn't add missions selectable from the map for replaying - (originally meditations; now daily heroics) was to remove farming. Back in D1 certain quest objectives could be farmed by doing an activity solo and essentially trivialize the quest step. This way, outside of nightfalls (where you can solo - but it has to be in rotation), even if there is a decent method to farm something - outside of you having a full fire team; randoms completing strikes as normal will pull you forward.

1 ReplyI think it would be cool if Bungie would add banners in patrol that would allow players to start strikes. If the player is solo or with a fire team, then they would enter the strike without match making.

Load up a basic night fall same loot table same light lvl plus you choose your own modufiers.

agree, back in D1 before that stupid patch that made weekly heroic matchmade, it was goodtimes, now, just carry afk ppl half the time. so frustrating.

I normally do it with solo NF. Just head to patrol are and get those pesky quests out of the way.

That would make it easier to get quests done. There wouldn't be anyone stealing your kills

for all of the above reasons and because now more than ever it seems we are even more in the era of dinks who idle there at spawn and do nothing, grr.

4 RepliesWho remembers D1 Strikes having NO MATCHMAKING. Those were the days. No time limits, decent rewards, easy enough to solo. Play at your own leisure.

2 RepliesYes please. Would love to just run alone or with my friends. Running nightfalls is kind of a work-around, but doesn't really work when there's only 3 nightfalls a week, which gets stale incredibly fast. It's really annoying trying to just have fun by yourself or with a friend when you get that third player in there who tryhards/zooms through the whole thing. I get that many are in there just to get bounties out of the way, so why not let them have their merry time on their lonesome since they're clearly more than capable of blasting through them alone? No one loses from the option to solo strikes. Well...no one except low-geared characters and new players. This could be mitigated by having the powerful engrams tied to matchmade strikes only.

1 ReplyYou’re talking about the development team that hasn’t fixed all the crucible problems, hasn’t added any reason to play strikes, has still left all year one gear useless in the dust, hasn’t updated any old content to make it worth playing. They honestly don’t give a -blam!-.

tbh I imagine this being a very unnecessary thing. No offense, I just don't see much utility besides using it to grind strike objectives, which you can already do with the nightfall.

1 ReplyIf you are on Console you can change the date on the clock under systems and the Destiny servers will not match you with anyone. Just remember to change it back to the current time/date if you change you're mind
