PvP Endgame

I have an idea that might solve the gatekeeping within comp and the lack of endgame content available to Crucible players. Hear me out. Upon reaching Legend for the first time in the competitive playlist, players receive the Unbroken seal (down from hitting 3 times) and access to a new playlist called "Crucible Legends." This activity should be 3v3 or 4v4 elimination primarily, or maybe a fast paced objective based game mode. To play this playlist, you must have a pre-made fireteam and lock in the members, meaning you can't play with anyone else without resetting your rank. Teams won't be allowed duplicate subclasses or exotics. Supers will be limited or nonexistent. Super mods specifically won't work. Teams will be character locked so one person could run with three different teams a season if they wanted. The rank will be similar to the current Glory playlist, but you'll be playing against other players who have hit Legend. The best of the best. The competitors will compete for incredible cosmetics and unique rewards upon reaching certain ranks (no pinnacle weapons that break the game), and also to put their team names on a leaderboard and a seal. This competition will last the entirety of a season. A team could vote to disband the team, resetting their rank. Leaderboard placement will be determined based off of win/loss ratio, individual team member contribution (This will make a DDoSing team less effective), rank, etc. For this playlist, there will be a seal with a single tiumph. "Place in the top 3 teams at the end of a season." Upon completing this, the players will receive the title of "Legend." The champs will get to show off their title during the next season. However, if they fail to place in the top teams, they can lose it. Of course, the majority of the community will need a form of Crucible endgame as well. But I think the idea above would be an incredible way to stop the current gatekeeping within competitive and give a lot more players a reason to go further than Fabled in comp. If implemented correctly, I believe this could be a very healthy change for the PvP environment. It would provide a place for players who REALLY want to sweat, and make comp a little less stressful for the average player. Comp could be the normal endgame, and Crucible Legends could be the sweaty one. A lot more players might give comp a grind, and recovs and DDoSing in the new playlist would be almost nonexistent. The biggest recovs would be forced to use their own accounts if they wanted to succeed in the new playlist, because it's a season long tournament with a constantly updating leaderboard. The leaderboard also requires more than just wins to be placed, so DDoSing wouldn't work. Also, even if players were DDoSing, the leaderboard would expose them fairly quickly. In the case of people DDoSing anyways in either playlist, that's an easy fix without dedicated servers. If one player disconnects, the match stops for up to 5 or 10 minutes until the player rejoins or the entire team that lost the player decides to end the match. If they decide to end that match, nobody loses Glory and those teams can't match again. To prevent exploiting, make sure this only works in the case of disconnects. Also, make it have a limit so people can't just abuse it on losing games. Let me know what everyone thinks and upvote if you agree! Edit: For all those who don't know, the gatekeepers are essentially the incredibly talented players, streamers, and recovs that do nothing but comp all day. They play with all the same members as well more often than not, so if you run in to them, your chances of winning are slim at best. This usually greatly discourages average players from even trying and prevents them from trying the current Crucible endgame. This playlist would give the best of the best a place to be and something to chase.
