You don't like any of the strikes? Or are you asking why there haven't been new ones in the pass?...because that question has been answered.

Just trying to gain some perspective and learn about what goes into making a part of the game. A little bit of "behind the scenes" info if you will. I dont have a problem with any of the strikes, really. They're fun to grind and fun to nightfall. And yes, I would have liked at least 1 strike per season of the annual pass, and no, I haven't seen where they explained why they aren't including any.

Edited by W33DEDPLAGUE: 4/17/2019 3:23:20 AMI'm not sure they have given a specific reason other than resources and time. So apparently, and I don't work there so I can't be 100% certain, it takes a lot of both. They DID say there wouldn't be any of that type of content for the pass though. It won't come until the next expansion. I think a lot of the misunderstanding from people about the pass, is because we have been used to and conditioned to expect that kind of content with every release. Where we are now is we have Forsaken for a year (which is your story and strike content) and a pass for a year of extra activities and endgame until the next expansion or whatever comes. Strikes are good and all, but they make it sound like they eat up a lot of time and resources, making it difficult to keep up with that kind of release schedule. It's not strikes alone, but all that traditional content that usually comes. Strikes have scripted mechanics and bossfights, sometimes specific areas that aren't accessed otherwise, and voice acting, all of which takes a lot of time and resources to produce. I don't know what comes after season of opulence but even if it's another pass, I would expect they will probably introduce a couple more for the next year. I could be wrong but there are a lot of players that love strikes and for the not to bring a couple more in the next year probably wouldn't go over well.

Right. I get all that. I knew we weren't getting any campaign missions or high quality cinematics, but I figured we'd get somewhere between 1-3 strikes over the course of the year, since they can be considered endgame and are not always just revamped versions of the best story missions. Some are their own little tidbit of standalone narrative. I'd just like to have some kind of answer like, "It takes X amount of X-person teams working X hours a day for X weeks to make a single strike for the playlist." That way I can know if wanting a strike in addition to what else we're getting each season is too much to ask, or not.
