Different opinion here Try using cores efficiently, and leave fashion as endgame. Try new stuff on the way to the top, hit max way before new power level raise, start a stockpile, eliminate this problem.

False dichotomy. 1. The role gear plays isn't "fashion". They represent powers we've earned from teh game. 2. It isn't new stuff....we're being forced to play with old stuff that we aren' interested in . 3. Playing that way snuffs out player gear choice while levelling....and elminated the ability to play mutliple builds. IOW, it suffs out the core experience of playing any loot-based RPG. 4. This game has no end-game. Because Bungie deliberately keeps raisng the level cap so that we never actually get to any sort of legitimate end-game loot grind. Bungie goal is to keep us constantly grinding for item level....while the HOPE of end-game loot keeps us tolerating that tedious, unrewarding mid-game grind. Broken.

Being rich doesn't end poverty. Having all of the cores doesn't end the BS costs.
