Problem reading game content, Destiny 2 won't start

Every time I log in, I get an error message before getting to the character select screen that says "Problem reading game content. Please close Destiny 2, run 'Scan and Repair' in Blizzard's Battle.net App then restart Destiny 2 to try again." No matter how many times I run the Scan and Repair function, the error message still comes up. What do I do?

Hi there. Appreciate your report. If running the Scan and Repair didn't work, delete the following local cache/settings directories:

– %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC
More information:
*WARNING* Deleting these will cause you to lose persisted settings, such as logged in users, keybinds and graphics settings in Destiny, etc. The directory names above are actual paths that can be used in Windows Explorer. For example, if you enter "%PROGRAMDATA%" in the Windows Explorer address bar, it will automatically take you to C:\ProgramData (default), which is a hidden directory.
