What if we were able to be the light’s version of Oryx? Steal from the traveler and become a god of light?

I don't think it works that way, but that would be cool.

The Traveler has to give you the Light... Something that I actually think may happen to us when the next Collapse happens. That's assuming that after the Deep does what it does or right before it does what it does, we get to speak to the Gardener before the Dark fires upon it.>

It is possible to win a war defending but this isn’t a normal war. This is an enemy with nowhere else to go. To them (I’m not saying this is the only option, in fact I would prefer peace.) they either kill us and take our worlds or they become extinct. My opinion? The Vanguard either needs to end and a strong leader (Not specifically a military leader per say) is chosen and acts like a guiding hand to humanity or new, strong leaders for the Vanguard are chosen. You seem like the kind of person I could debate this with instead of turning it into a argument PhNx Hellfire.

Your choice would be power then. My choice is simple: After many, many, many years of getting older? The grandkids are actually grandkids and I'll spoil them. You don't go after them and I won't resort to anything drastic to protect them. It's an older saying, but you should know it: Age is earned. When the bones ache and you smile at any conversation? It's finally earned. When you can sit back, relax, and know you did the right things throughout your life in a selfless manner? It's finally earned. Every generation has them. Light vs dark. It's your perspective. Think the vanguard is broken? You're too dark for my company already.

Then maybe the ability to nullify paracausality? Between the light and the dark effectively making either side meaningless but still balanced?
-
Other- Suggestion would be your choice. Nullify para causality? Light and dark forces can't be nullified anymore than you couldn't see further and become blind. Nullification is a science, same as others. You would like a power, born of light, to reflect the exact components needed to nullify dark and likewise dark to light? I can understand in the age of marvel movies and whatnot how people can believe it's possible but in actual fantasy components? Neutralization like that is incredibly difficult and nearly impossible to get... and if obtained... typically can't be used as an endless supply chain. Maybe a few uses before a rest or something along those lines. Balance between both light and dark is merely a wipe mechanic leaving two equally powerful foes if one would like complete and total balance.

Then a suppressant? Like how the thorn works, but for both light and dark not born of light or dark.
-
You want to be able to switch cartridges maybe and even then... You want to use fabricated light against dark and vice versus to suppress their capabilities, but this is an unknown enemy coming up... Your rolling a 7/20 chance your suppression rounds will do anything other then annoy them, but sure then.
