Plus, she’s capable of phasing through the ground. She’s only gotten as far as her feet, though.

I always wondered about that but have never seen any discussion about it. To me it looks like there is a circular track in the floor and ADA-1 has some some of adapter for the track instead of feet and can only move in the track.

I’m almost sure that her feet are phasing through the floor and it’s a glitch. Sometimes she seems much shorter than other times, and she certainly does have feet (according to the lore, telling us how she ran away at one point), so I’m guessing the platform that we stand on has no collision for her, though the level below it does.
