Reddit sucks!
-
It’s actually great for sports news

If they don’t complain now they’ll just complain later.
-
Do we complain just to complain now?
That’s a legit criticism not a complaint.
Complaining about Releasing an update when it’s ready? I don’t see the problem with this.
The speed and timing of updates has been a consistent criticism since launch of Destiny, but nice try with the ole strawman. 🍪

Edited by The Herd with ColinCowherd: 4/3/2019 1:51:55 AMThey’ve got plenty of stuff scheduled for next week that they have to test to make sure it’s ready on time. They can’t just wave their hands and make stuff happen. I really don’t have a problem with Bungie going through their normal dev process for this change because it’s not a pressing matter and by the looks of the replies on this thread, neither does anyone else. I’d rather they prioritize working in the upcoming content than pushing through a cosmetic update anyway. Don’t really think it’s a straw man. OP actually is complaining about an update Bungie scheduled. I mean I’d get “fuçk Bungie” for waiting until now to acknowledge the problem but I don’t have an issue with the procedure by which they fix the problem
🍪
The thing is though, those drop rate changes are probably done. They often do package deals too much, which leads to silly moments like this. Did this with Servitor Primeval in Gambit too. It's hilariously bad timing.

You could be right but I’m not gonna make that conclusion simply because i don’t know. I can’t really take speculation as anything substantive

That’s not real though. Still a legit complaint, and one that players have been making since D1 launch.

Edited by The Herd with ColinCowherd: 4/3/2019 3:52:43 AMMy opinion is that complaining about when a cosmetic update drops when devs are working on real content is stupid. That’s what forums are for right? Giving opinions. I thought it was implied I was giving my opinion that he’s “complaining to complain”. I guess I’ll make sure to spell out that I’m giving my opinion on a forum next time lol

Saying it’s stupid is an insult, not an opinion.

Opinion as defined by the dictionary is “a view or judgment formed about something”. I’m pretty sure my belief that OPs criticism is stupid would fit into that definition in that my judgement about OPs criticism is that it is stupid. Though at this point we’re arguing semantics which I’d really rather not do.

They have more than one thing to work on at a time.

nah bro we’ve been doing this since september 2014
