Maybe they thought the lower droprates would have worked well and upon seeing the community not liking them increased it.

  • Not wrong. However I don’t think they went by any expressed opinion. The numbers probably showed that they reached that red line where players just checked out of this soul-sucking grind. I wish bungie would just go beyond the bare minimum and let people have some fun.

  • The community doesn’t like cores , so why not fix them ? It’s dirty underhand tactics to slow/ control the players , nothing less !

  • They are potentially fixing them. They are creating bounties for us to complete for batches of cores the update arrives in season 7. Their objective here, is to have the cores be a rare but essential part of infusion to give the game another level of depth to its endgame.

  • Taking them from scrapper bounties and moving them to another bounty is not a fix , giving in one hand and taking back with the other . Scrapper bounties u get free , these new bounties will cost gunsmith materials, soon people will be running out of these so instead of fixing one problem, they have just created another but yes Bungie does know this aswell

  • I don't really understand why they haven't removed them from infusion, but I feel as if giving banshee core bounties is going to be a pretty good solution. Personally, I couldn't give less of a shit about the core issue, but I'd like to see it removed so the community can focus on something else and have the game progress. Jumping to conspiracy theory level thinking is a bit extreme though, just wait it out and see how the Banshee bounties work.
