Season of the Drifter Weapon Drop Rates
We will be increasing the drop rates of weapons in The Reckoning in Update 2.2.1. We will also be adding most of the weapons to the loot pool of Gambit Prime to increase the ways you can earn Season of the Drifter weapons. Most weapons will have a chance to drop at the end of Gambit Prime matches. Your drop chance will also increase in both Gambit Prime and the Reckoning every match you don’t get a weapon to prevent long droughts without a drop. Eventually, you will be guaranteed a drop. Gnawing Hunger, Just In Case, and Doomsday will remain as exclusive drops in the Reckoning.

Probably all the reckoning stuff too. Well guess what RNG for the rest of us is broken, D1 was bad but your horrible design your inflated progression and the crap drop rates have made D2 literally no fun to play at all. Here’s an idea go back to the drawing board erase everything and start over it’s the only way to fix anything.

If you could pass this along to the team: Having weapon bounties for Gambit Prime and Reckoning would be sweet and give us the agency to grind for a god roll ______ weapon. Ada-1 frames allowed us to chase for the gear we wanted, and the grind was on getting the rolls not on getting the weapons to drop.

i spent 4hrs grinding in the dreaming city last night and it eventually dropped the queensbreaker fusion exotic from an random ultra boss encounter but still didn't get the lord of wolves exotic from spider today whilst MoreConsole got it from 25 spider bounties and i did 15 of them with no luck and ended up getting the umpteenth coldheart from ikora with hunter so RNG is all over the place that this promise of protecting exotics from repertition didn't deliver at all yet again promise so much and deliver so little .

6 RepliesGotta grind grind grind and grind more in the already EXTREMELY grindy game. I guess at least you are increasing the drops that should have already been increased or been better when the not a DLC dropped. Oh how about adding some fun with less of a grindy grind and taking away cores from infusion would be a great first step. At the same time though it might already be too late to get many players back even if you did remove them so just keep on doing what you want and continue loosing players. Literally nobody in my clan even plays anymore and all of them said they will most likely not get D3 cause Bungie has screwed us too many times as is.

Yea the ARBELAST drops rate is great considering it was something to look forward to on release of this update. I’m going to log in once a week to do the XUR bounty then log off.

Dearest Cozmo, Last night I played 5/6 Tier 3 Reckoning with my clanmates. Each of them rewarded with at least two of the activity exclusive weapons available. I got nothing. We flew back to the tower and I still have hopes something would be in the postmaster. Alas, nothing. I am extremely disappointed by how often this happens and therefore I am typing this stern worded comment in hopes that this announcement is true (we have been lied in the past). I NEED MY LOOT PLEAAAAAAAAAAAASE!!!! Kind regards, Blue
