Hey all, We're passing this feedback to the team. We've recently done some tuning to damage reduction on this super, but we see a lot of feedback from the community about super uptime and continued feedback for damage reduction.

  • Why do you even need community feedback ? All you have to do is play pvp for an hour or two and everything wrong with this mode will stick out like a fat chick in a yoga class. Does anyone at Bungie actually play their game ?

  • Please for the love of the Traveler keep what ever you and devs are thinking tuned to PVP side only. Don't nerf this like you did BB to the point it isn't viable in PVE anymore.

  • Hey DMG, it's not just uptime and tankiness. We were told that the new Spectral would punish players for mindlessly spamming light attack, and yet when I see people pop spectral, that's exactly what they do. It's profoundly disappointing to me that this, which has been an issue for [b][u]months[/u][/b], is ONLY NOW being passed to the team, which means we'll see a fix in, what, about six months? Please tell the devs the fact that they are [b][u]markedly slower to update the game than every other developer out there[/u][/b] really detracts from the quality and experience of playing Destiny 2.

  • Light attacks used to not take any energy at all. Now they do. I could swipe the whole duration at a gambit boss by myself at 2 stacks and do half his health even with knockbacks and flying away because apparently I wanna swipe the air on occasion. Now its noticeably shorter while spamming. [spoiler]but you dont care about pve.[/spoiler]

  • Actually the light attacks used to cost more. In the buff to spectral blades they actually reduced the cost of light attacks because they also reduced the light attack speed to increase its hit registration.

  • I'm going to base my response on the premise that anyone at Bungie that play is average at PvP and not top tier. How does an average player use Spectral Blades and consistently get 3 kill streaks or more when they cannot with other supers? How can they play PvP and consistently get killed 2 or 3 times by an opposing gamer and not say to the team, "You know what happened in PvP last night? We should look into this maybe." How can they play Nova Warp before the nerf and after and think it's okay where it is? Or does anyone at Bungie play the game or care about it when they do?

  • If 3+ people are In an area i can do em all in with any given roaming super. My favorite is sentinel because shield throw is crazy.

  • I don't know if damage reduction will do anything. I think the time it lasts needs to be nerfed. And everybody will hate it if you make the super two shot or something. That would be terrible. Unless you are planning on making it do less damage to other supers, then i'll be ok.

  • Spectral blades needs to have a good up time for pve. Easy solution: Guardian kills remove super energy. Let's say 2 seconds equivalent from super.

  • Even if you were to make it cost super energy every time someone slashed, it would greatly diminish the problem. Not saying it would fix it, but it would be diminished.

    While it does seem the super needs to be toned down a bit, please don't nerf it like you did with Nova Warp. It was bad enough that Spectral Blades wasn't good when it was first introduced in Forsaken, but I would hate for it to receive the same treatment that Nova Warp got. And this is coming from someone who is playing as a Titan. There needs to be a fine line between it being viable and deadly.

  • Still tone deaf. Damage reduction in pvp means nothing. It will still be a one hit super. Damage reduction makes the super worthless in pve anddoesnt change anything in pvp. No super should last more than 5 seconds, no matter what. And no super should be available more than twice in a match.

  • damage reduction in stealth in PvE doesn't matter since ads don't attack invis targets. Also...no supers should last more than 5 seconds? You'd be ruining the space magic a lot of us want
