Hey all, We're passing this feedback to the team. We've recently done some tuning to damage reduction on this super, but we see a lot of feedback from the community about super uptime and continued feedback for damage reduction.

  • Nerf it and a lot of people will be out. And it will be entirely your fault. Why? Because hunters are a one trick pony by design. YOU, and i can`t emphasize this enough, made them like this: they got no one shot ability like the other 2 classes, you nerfed blade barrage into uselessness and the other supers are a joke in the crucible. You "buffed" golden gun but it still dies to a shotgun blast or the pathetic crossfire of two crosseyed hand cannoneers...

  • Now, now, no need to be offended. You say hunters are a one trick pony? Yes, they have spectral blades, the most dominant super in competitive Crucible. They also have blade barrage, which you claim has been nerfed into uselessness - do you play much PvP, and if you do, is it on console? Hunters have the best vertical acceleration, that enables them to get in and out of situations quicker than any other class - oh, and it gets better with stompees. They can use dodge for a variety of effects, invisible, reload, refresh melee, activate kill clip, memento more etc.. My point being, as much as I hate hunters in Crucible, I recognise the enormous force they are - which might also be why competitive, or even trials when it was around, was played by 70-80% hunters.

  • Soooo basically "hunter iz good cuz jumpy real high". Sorry bro I`d trade that in a heartbeat for a hand held. Lose a 1 v 1 duel? Get behind cover charge it up and release. BAM! You`re the best! Oh yeah!

  • Would you rather have the ability to run straight at someone for several seconds and then do an animation to kill the person with shoulder charge during which you could easily be killed by a shotgun or even any primary, or would you rather be able to throw a smoke bomb at them from around a corner, blinding, slowing, and damaging them and then jump around the corner in the air with the most mobility of all three classes and easily shotgun them?

  • I like titans and I like hunters. I don`t want either of them to be nerfed. In fact i`d like titan tundercrash damage to be INCREASED so titans be useful in Gambit and Prime. BUT between the two of them shoulder charge requires less work than being "able to throw a smoke bomb at them from around a corner, blinding, slowing, and damaging them and then jump around the corner in the air with the most mobility of all three classes and easily shotgun them". Even less work is hand held supernova. That crud shouldn`t even exist!

  • My point was that shoulder charge and handheld supernova are easy to counter. Sure you can one shot, but it's much more effective (and doesn't even require much more skill or effort) to use the neutral game and mobility of a hunter to outmaneuver the person. Having a one shot ability isn't the only thing that makes a class's non-super abilities good.

  • Handheld supernova is inconsistent, and if you know they have it you can just back up when they go behind cover so that when they come out, you will be out of its range.

  • It is crazy I get killed by it and spawn in to be killed again by the same blades lol 😂 and I main a hunter but don’t care for it haha I like to mix and match but to compete as a hunter you gotta play like everyone else to stop it

    The duration is fine, but the amount of energy loss per swing definately needs to be looked at. That way players cant spam attacks. Same with nova warp before it was nerfed to almost uselessness. Dont go down the road of unnessassary nerfs again.

  • Titans have bad supers compared to warlocks and even hunters. The best pvp class is the warlock, and hunters are strictly at the same level as titans because of spectral blades. Take away spectral blades and they are the weakest. BUT take away the shoulder charge and titans gonna be a mess. Even less than hunters. Besides I see you have a pretty high level warlock. How about hand held supernova? That`s a one shot and it`s ranged to boot. Clearly way more OP. You`re not crying about that. Suspicious...

  • One, I don’t really play with my warlock. I rarely ever see this one hand nova bomb you speak of. At most I got killed by one earlier this week in iron banner and that’s it. I’ve gotten killed by so many shoulder charges. Also you say all Titan supers are terrible? The hammer super can get multiple kills in one use and you can regain your health with each kill. (Unless that ability is from an exotic armor piece) The arc super can get multi kills if players are grouped up and provides a good damage reduction. Spectral blade seems to be the only good super for hunters. The golden gun at most can get three kills. I think I can say more but I already wrote a lot

  • One: I think you rarely see hand held supernova because it`s tied to the nova warp super? And since it`s no longer a rampaging death machine it`s no longer abused. Two: Shoulder charge is once in a blue moon. Hammer of sol is so inaccurate u just need to jump to avoid the splinters and doesn`t heal u on kill (used to be because one eyed mask procced on super kills, no longer so), the arc super has not that great of an armor. BUT i agree with you that hunter have only one good super namely spectral blades. And that`s why a NERF is UNWARRANTED.
