Please don't be a battle royale or live service game.....
No one should pre-order, at least until we 100% know what type of game it's going to be.

ok, geese you don't have to get so angry. There does come a time when people need to wise up and stop falling for marketing though. We keep giving the same excuses for developers over and over and often get disappointed. The way the AAA gaming industry is going, it's hard to even tell if a game is going to actually try to be a game made to have fun and not a "live service" made to take all your cash, even if it's barely a game or barely even functioning.

Edited by BADMAGIK: 3/27/2019 4:46:23 PMAgain, who gives a crap what people spend their money on. It's like you're jealous or something. If I'm rich and I wanna buy and own 8 sport cars and 4 houses, I will. It doesn't matter if I actually use them or not, it's my money.

ok, have fun being disappointed if it turns out being a bad game. I'm not hoping that the next Borderlands game fails, but it's hard to stay optimistic about these things nowadays with all the crap they are trying to pull. All I'm saying is, have some wisdom and don't fall for hype when we don't actually know what is going on.

Agreed. I doubt it'll be a live service game and 100% doubt it'll be a BR game. What brought you to that conclusion? Also, for the live service sorta game, Randy Pitchford addressed this back in 2017. Guy said he doesn't want to leave offline players hanging, so I doubt BL will go that route.

It's hard to take any AAA developer seriously anymore. So many lies have been told over and over, it's hard to know when it's truth and not PR speak.
