So, I’m sure you are all aware of the lustrous design of the Rat King already. It’s well embroidered, with a style that one would kill for, blinded by pure lust for such a gun.
But we are not here to discuss the beauty of such a weapon. We are here to discuss cold, hard, FACTS.
Now, besides the design, what determines this to be such a godly weapon? Well, let’s start with the myth of the Rat King. A kid ventures in and out of the City, “smuggling” people who wish to leave into the wilderness. For one, this is perfect insight into the day-to-day urban legends within the City itself, building a perfect legend to an already grand legend itself.
Some of you may also know that a “rat king” is a legitimate phenomenon in real life, in which rats would gather in a circle, and link tails together. This coincides perfectly with the main trait, in which if someone is in close proximity with another Rat King, they grow stronger. Mightier than even a wish dragon. What could possibly be more poetic than to kill a dragon with the lowliest of rodents?
Let us also not ignore the fact that there are more than one of these in existence, otherwise the perk would never exist. A true commoners weapon, this seems to be the very first, original, non-faction or organization build handiwork manufactured within the City.
Anyways. Best gun. You could not prove me wrong or change my mind even if you tried.

13 RepliesHm, supporting the idea of some weirdo who dresses like a rodent, kidnaps children, and takes them out of the City where they will be killed by alien scavengers… As much as I like that, this is the best exotic, no contest:
Stick Exotic Sword Weapon Slot: Heavy Ammo: N/A Manufacturer: Mother Nature Impact: kind of hurts Range: slightly long; a little further than your arm, unless you throw it Stability: N/A Handling: easy to hold Reload Speed: N/A Rate of Fire: How fast can you swing your arm? Magazine: N/A Exotic Perks: Stick it to the man: This weapon instantly kills whatever you hit with it. No exceptions. Nature’s Bounty: Sticks can be found everywhere. This appears to be nothing more than a slightly-long stick. It is indeed nothing more than a slightly-long stick. But do not be fooled. This mighty weapon has slain countless foes. There is no rival to its power. Gods tremble at the mere thought of this weapon. Those who do not fear its wrath are met with a quick smack from the wooden limb, and instant death. -KSeth27
Well, you can have your lore. But I’ll be keeping my dps numbers with me, like my buddy whisper or wardcliff, those are my friends. And they don’t have cryptic bs that doesn’t tell you very well the steps. -
5 RepliesLook, using the rat king gives you the power of friendship and honestly the real exotic quest was the friends you made along the way
