What armor sets in the last few seasons have you liked and disliked. I really love the Forge and Gambit Prime sets. We have given feedback that a lot of players preferred the Wolf/Knight aesthetic for Iron Banner sets as well as how much everyone loved the glowing raid ornaments.

i've enjoyed the IB sets so far except last serason, wasn't terribly thrilled about those designs but this season looks better. especially the color of this seasons shader.
-
I love the hunter vanguard dare cloak. It looks really good on my hunter with the trials shader. I'm not impressed with I.B. armor lately. Now the first set of D2 IB armor looks 200 times better

The full cloak for the hunter is really appreciated in the prime set, I'd love to see a fully ornamented set like the glow/radiance, In game boss themed armour and weapons (I know armour related post) would make an awesome addition. The whole chase of this armour piece, cause your guardian is a badass godslayer, with its bones across your body cause you can 😉 Maybe glass needle-esque items for much needed love to year 1 sets for additional diversity. And we'll D1 raid sets and ornaments were next level and I love them 😂

Edited by MIM: 3/26/2019 2:21:07 AMLiked; starting armour for Hunter (Fruminous) and Titan (Noble Constant Type 2), we used to get from Ikora. Leviathan armour for warlock (Emperor's Minister) and titan (Emperor's champion). Black armory Eververse armour for all 3 classes (Vanguard Dare, Starcrossed & Symmitrists) Vanguard armour year 1 with ornaments S1/2 for Hunter (The took offense) and Titan (Shelter in place). Eververse armour season 1 & 2, all characters (Optimacy, Omega Mechanos) Eververse armour for Season 3 is ok. Its different (Ares One) and.... tho not many agree, lost pacific armour for all 3 characters. A lot are reskins, like road complex, knight errant, trials and new monarchy are all reskins that are ok for hunter. Dislikes; literally everything else. strong dislike.

Every single one of those sets are dresses for warlocks so... no.
-
What do u mean? I literally named mostly hunter and titan armour. The few sets i named specifically were hunter armour?
-
Eververse Omega Mechanos from year 1 would love to see this set again with Yr2 stats...

I really like the direction armor design has started to go in lately especially with black armory and season of the drifter. I think a continued focus on armor sets that look more ‘practical’ and less ornamental would be a change just about everyone would appreciate. I like my armor to feel like it’s useful in the universe. Sets like the Gambit set, the new Eververse sets, and the Prodigal sets from D1 go a great job of this. Having the armor look a bit more rugged, a little more realistic, more ammo belts and bandoliers and gear pouches and tubes and ties and knives tucked away, things like that.

I'm sorry but you haven't even tried with Gambit armor, all you did was create a single set for Hunter, Titan and Warlock then changed the colour of the Gambit snake. Destiny 1 armour looked nice for the most part, Titans were sleek wannabe master chiefs with supers which were actually effective. Now you've gone mad with the stupid shoulder pads and Knight style armour which makes my Titan look like a tit. Your creative team lacks imagination and clearly likes to reuse assets far too often (recolours and reskins, how creative). I've seen some of the artwork by your artists on ArtStation and i'm wondering why some of the amazing looking armour they've come up with hasn't made it into the game. I'm also wondering why strike specific armour wasn't carried over to Destiny 2 because it actually made strikes worth playing. If you expect to keep the player base engaged, don't make cool looking gear ridiculously hard hard to obtain and for the love of god stop being lazy when it comes to designing new weapons and armour.

Really liked the scourge gear across the board

Yes! So sick of Asian armor. Also, trench coats rather than robes are way cooler on warlocks.

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 3/25/2019 8:57:38 PMThe armor this season is ok but I really don’t like the Gambit symbol on it. I really didn’t like the Hunter Black Armory armor. It would have been cool if each forge had appropriately themed armor that could drop instead of just one universal set. I’d really like to be able to combine some Y1 pieces with some of the Y2 armor but I don’t want to sacrifice having perks for it. Really wish you guys would let us “reforge” at least Y1 armor.

Edited by frompa: 3/25/2019 8:46:43 PMNeed perks for Year 1 armor. We worked hard for some... like trials
-
The last wish raid set is amazing, crucible is pretty bad. The new gambit prime set is pretty cool. Reverie Dawn is nice, too.
-
I’m sorry but the pencil neck on the warlock robes for their last wish set is trash.
-
Oh sorry meant for the hunter lol
-
Ah ok yea hunter is good warlock would be fine if they didn’t always find a way to ruin it aka the pencil neck.
-
Titan EP armor is dope Warlock Exodus down armor is good Hunter Frumious armor? Yes cool.
-
agree with these 3

Edited by SmokeShadow_27: 3/25/2019 8:52:41 PMI loved the shortlived Solstice gear, just like I liked Chroma gear in D1. And the option to change colors to match subclass was sweet. Dawning gear usually has a cool look to it, but I missed the most recent Dawning, so I can't say. I thought Faction gear was good in D2. The ornament FWC blacked out Hunter and the ornament New Monarchy Titan stood out to me as badass. Didn't really like the Dead Orbit gear this time around though I also thought the taken set was super cool in D1. Probably my all time fave. Reverie Dawn gear is cool and the ascendant effect is obviously similar but it is situational. I want to look Taken in the Tower too! Scare some noobs while I'm at it, lol. I do like the Great Hunt Gear for all classes, especially Hunter.. That was way better than the beetlebug look of prior raids (after Calus). Calus gear was cool, especially hard mode Calus. Hope this helps. Thanks for listening. Oh yeah, and Gambit Prime gear definitely looks cool, but I haven't been grinding it much yet, since I've been having so much fun doing story and adventures and stuff with my gf's 1st Guardian. Edit: D1 Banner gear was sick. Even those menacing fiery Titan gauntlets were never getting complaints about being obnoxiously big... 'cause they were badass, not just big for the sake of being big.

I like the armor sets I can actually keep in my Vault...since I'm really tight on space.
-
I watched the lore video on the last word and thorn and some of the artwork for the guardians was legit. The hunter with the rose cloak was badass. I would like more things like that where it’s clean but very nice. No more of this hunter gear that has huge bags on them looks to crowded. I do agree with the other posts that responded to this about the ornaments and from a type stuff. The prime gear is going in the right direction except the hunter armor way to blocky but the Titans is way cool.
-
Any Titan gauntlets that doesn’t make me look like I am wearing 80’s shoulder pads, also why does my Titan look obese in the Gambit Prime armour?

It looks like a bug mixed with samurai armor and not in a good way. The end of Destiny 1 armor for vault of glass and Crota is sometimes still an argument on which is cooler cause it was such a good job.

You know when they talk specifics they have been listening.
