What armor sets in the last few seasons have you liked and disliked. I really love the Forge and Gambit Prime sets. We have given feedback that a lot of players preferred the Wolf/Knight aesthetic for Iron Banner sets as well as how much everyone loved the glowing raid ornaments.

Edited by Ice Oblivion IV: 3/25/2019 10:03:37 PMRight there with ya! Though, I was not a fan of the D2 NM armor since it was a reskin of the Kerak armor set. I would of preferred the Wildwood or Gemsyn Knight set in the red, white and, the D2 added, gold. Edit: I forget to mention I am speaking specifically about the New Monarchy Titan armor.
-
Same to an extent. Most of the armors for all classes were bomb(especially with my go to shader on everything: New Monarchy Diamond). I just wish the Titan head could have looked better. With even an ornament it was weird. Originally I felt an Alien vibe, but maybe had it been a little less long it wouldn't have been so odd.

Vanguard dare set. The chest piece was the best part. Tactical and modernized, loved the knife sheathed in the back. Executors will set from New monarchy was THE BEST hunter set. Red grungy painted light armor. Just so nice.
-
I still run it on my Hunter and have it for my Titan and Warlock if need be lol
-
The faction ornament sets were unique and pretty good looking. Especially the Dead Orbit warlock set. I thought the faction sets were a step in the right direction with sets growing around ornaments and helping to cut down on the vault clutter, .....unfortunately, these were all left behind when forsaken launched and armor perks became a thing again.
-
Sad thing is they could still have the ornaments for I.B. and stuff but it's just not implemented. I mean look at weapon ornaments. It's doable.

Edited by Kanashimi510: 3/25/2019 10:06:07 PMYeah, it would be a wonderful thing to still have this system in place. I don't really understand why bungie does this type of thing. Introduce a great new system (like gear ornaments for sets like IB) and just as quickly, abandon the whole thing as if it never happened.
-
Kind of what they did with the cool raid ornaments from D1. You'd thought they'd bring most of that system over and just add but it was a whole different entity in the end compared to D1(from what I remember. It has been 1 1/2 years lol)

I love the Reverie Dawn and Last Wish gear. Can you tell I have an ascetic? Black Armory gear was nice too, but Scorge of the Past gear was absolutely horrible. There could have been Fallen themed gear, but we got just bland and bad instead. I miss my original Leviathan gear and Ikelos gear. Those need to be made relevant again. Rework Escalation Protocol to drop Ikelos weapons and armor that are year 2 current. Make all Ikelos armor come with random rolls. Make Ikelos weapons drop with year 2 random rolls and a chance at a rare curated master-worked version of each weapon. :) Make EP relevant to this year! Our old badass armor would become relevant again.

That one glitch with the warlock robes
-
Forsaken armor is nice. More jackets less dresses.
-
Honestly the BA armor sets are the only ones I've liked since D2 launched personally.
-
The shoulders on the warlocks are my problem. just look at them.
-
Did you never get the popeye arms from the two raid lairs? The shoulders are fine compared to that hot mess.
-
For which class?
-
All three, except for that one weird cape for the hunter, but the armor set as a whole (both forge and scourge) is my favorite for all the ones available. Save for a few exotics but I do not count those.
-
I didn’t really like the gauntlets too much or the cape. The weird asymmetry with the hunk of metal on one shoulder doesn’t look good to me.
-
That's ok, everyone has their own tastes!
-
The armor sets I like the most are actually armor sets from D1.

Is there a reason you guys haven't put a "transmog" system in? Is it a huge technical hurdle? Is it something you just don't think players would care about and therefore not worth it? I can tell you that "transmog" in World of Warcraft extended that games life and sense of investment exponentially for me. I found myself running old content I missed just for armor appearances. Obviously, I don't speak for others, but I think this system would have a great home in Destiny 2 and in 3. Customizing things is fun and gives developers an opportunity to create special sets, events and even currency sinks (if they are needed). Those Eververse pieces really aren't worth anything to me because if they roll badly they are dismantled.. it goes in my collection tab I guess.. but it really doesn't mean anything. If I could use those appearances, id want those sets much much more! Anyway, just a question..and a thought or two!

None. None of them are distinctive and set you apart. Due to core infusion, half of us look like we got dressed by 5 year olds.
-
Anything that you liked from Y1?
-
I prefer Kings Fall armor set, or the dark below set from D1
-
Like: (For hunter) -Prodigal set -Reverie Dawn boots and gauntlets, the rest is ugly -Last Wish set -Forge set -Gambit prime set Dislike: -Crucible set -Vanguard set -Gambit set

Edited by Corrick II: 3/25/2019 9:29:09 PMThe Forge armor looks great, as does the Crucible set. Would be great to get more armor like the D1 Spektar set back. Best Titan armor in D1 in my opinion.
