Did you miss me?

I’m NOT trying to start a class war and have all three characters in the game. I’m also not trying to ruin anyone’s fun who mains a titan.
And despite our previous interactions, I don't disagree with this statement.
HOWEVER - The eye mask was one of the worst exotics to hit crucible and is still ridiculous in the pvp setting.
Ehhhhhhh, maybe? I certainly don't see it super often anymore, but that's just the matchmaking I'm getting, so....
You need to bring other exotics in-line with this or do a proper job balancing it in the crucible setting.
Agreed, 95% of exotics aren't worth using in the slightest.
To the people who say “you need to win your ones”
It actively helps in every one vs one and you know when and where your opponent makes his play. Its like for tracer on steroids and laughs at any current warlock pvp exotic. You know your opponents position and when they will peak or expose themselves. You can watch them flank and then actively destroy them, gaining instant health and over shield to destroy and significantly raise the odds of deafening multiple guardians.
Actually the health isn't instant anymore, I'm pretty sure they knocked it down to just jump starting Regen, where it's cancelled by damage, and I'm also 95% sure they slowed the overshield build, so...
It buffs all neutral game for all subclasses and was wrist slapped in its supposed “balance.”
I wouldn't call nerfing every feature on a piece of equipment a "slap on the wrist," the problem here is that the extreme vast minority of exotic armor is useful beyond meme-status in Crucible.
Eye of another world is basically trash (and always has been)
Foe tracer is trash after they introduced this crazy OP Titan exotic.
And that's just 2 examples of things to buff, you've also got Wormhusk, Stag, Eternal Warrior, Saint-14, Stand Asides, and the Aeon Series.
If you combine the husk and the foetracer people would whine like c-nts for moons to come......how do you feel it can be justified for titans?
It was even worse before and was hardly touched in the latest patch.
I wouldn't call the bulk of your exotic perk being cancelled by 1 point of damage "barely touched," my man. The Regen isn't instant anymore, so 1 shot from the bulk of weapons can cancel the perk entirely, at least the Regen part. Either that, or u need to re-read the patch notes.
Roaming supers with shielding was op as f-ck and now it’s still OP.
I'm pretty sure they removed the perk entirely on supers, did they not?
Buff other exotics or do a proper job balancing the classes and class exotics. I would honestly LOVE something this viable for warlocks and my hunter to have an exotic as strong.
So make Foetracer Mask but on Hunter, and maybe Eye or The Ram the same thing on Warlocks, and buff other exotics, I'm game with that idea over nerfing Mask again.
Buff the stag so over shield energy can be taken from rifts and used outside the rift and combine it with the sanguine robes.
Watch people whine then <
Eye mask is not ok. Husk was not on the same level and copped a way harder nerf. If that was NOT ok why should an exotic that’s stronger get a wrist slap?
Yeah, while I disagree with the use of "wrist slap," idk why they nerfed Wormhusk arguably harder, especially considering that the perk wasn't that good to begin with.
Either balance it properly or BUFF the other class exotics to match it.
I'll have an order of the latter option, please.
Did you miss me?
Edit: so I was wrong about them slowing the over shield Regen, but here's what they changed.
One-Eyed Mask
Mark duration reduced from 15 seconds to 8 seconds
Health no longer restores automatically, but restores alongside overshield
Can no longer be triggered while in Super
That's straight from the patch notes.

I missed you

Your back!!!! Yes I missed our little slagging matches and here is my take..... Excuse the brevity - But if you buff the stag and then incorporate the wall hack effects of the sanguine robes (combine them into one mental exotic) where been shot enables the wearer to take the over shield AND the wall hack tracking out of the rifts. IM all f-cking in. As in no shite ALL in. The exotic makes 99% of all other tame and ruins the warlock experience. I don’t see any point in half the warlocks exotics or points in taking it into crucible but for nostalgia. Titans and the mask = OP. The original husk was nearly at this level but falls short by a fraction. Run any gun with kill clip and get a vengeance target. Hang back till you get the target acquisition and slay. Activate kill clip with the over shield and win the second engagement. It’s annoying switching back to a warlock after playing this level of power. The “nerf” was a wrist slap ultimately.
Your back!!!! Yes I missed our little slagging matches and here is my take.....
Awww, I missed you too, buddy <3
But if you buff the stag and then incorporate the wall hack effects of the sanguine robes (combine them into one mental exotic) where been shot enables the wearer to take the over shield AND the wall hack tracking out of the rifts. IM all f-cking in. As in no shite ALL in.
I mean, MW2 is way more fun than Black Ops 4 for a reason, and only part of that is because the hit detection actually works in MW2. ;)
The exotic makes 99% of all other tame and ruins the warlock experience. I don’t see any point in half the warlocks exotics or points in taking it into crucible but for nostalgia.
Well considering the fact that Warlocks are in the dumpster in PvP a lot of the time... Yeah, idk how people can run them.
Titans and the mask = OP. The original husk was nearly at this level but falls short by a fraction.
Ehhhh, both regens are still cancelled by damage, especially now that Thorn is a thing again, it's not amazing, but it can still shred Regen perks really well because of how DoT works in this game.
Run any gun with kill clip and get a vengeance target. Hang back till you get the target acquisition and slay. Activate kill clip with the over shield and win the second engagement.
On console, idk, but on PC, doing that gets you shredded by an Ace or a sniper, and is a terrible strategy.
It’s annoying switching back to a warlock after playing this level of power.
Is that just OEM, though? Warlock is -blam!-ing garbage right now, Mask existing or not.
The “nerf” was a wrist slap ultimately.
Ehhhhh, that's ultimately your opinion and God knows I'm not changing that, but the fact that the Regen is cancelled by damage really hurts it, unless you're playing ConsoleFall 2 levels of passive.

Yeah warlocks are trash in crucible right now. Having the mobility of the Titan and the better exotic is far more fun. Then the health regen (not the over shield) Have you honestly seen how quick it comes back? It’s dam near instantaneous.
-
Unless I'm high or unaware, isn't it tied to recovery? And 95% of people don't even bother with much or any agility if they can help it, going something like 9-6 Armor Recovery.

Edited by ill skillz: 3/25/2019 3:00:49 AMPlay against an eye mask user and tell me. The health comes back as fast as it ever did. The sentinel shield bods get that perk on the helmet tied into melee kills and over shields as well. It’s a mental exotic. I wish I had a similar piece for my warlock. Even my hunter would be great also <<
