The thing I hate most about Gambit Prime is the fully stationary damage buff circle, AKA the Well of Light. You have to enter the circle to receive the Primeval Slayer buff, and if you exit the Well the buff slowly runs out. This is, in my mind, a terrible idea. It’s incredibly irritating to have your DPS locations limited to three pinpoint areas on the map because of the Primeval roam. The Primeval could be twenty yards away, or standing directly in the Well and stomping you out of it. (Happens on the Titan map ALL THE TIME, SUPER annoying.) My heavy suggestion is that the Well of Light be turned into a Relic. My preferred reference is the Chalice of Light from Crota’s End, where a player picks up the Well of Light and carries it with them while still being able to fight. One player picks up the buff and carries it with them, while the others have to stay close to that one player. This would make a close range/long range DPS phase easily possible, while still preserving triumphs such as the one to kill the entire team while they are all standing in the Well of Light. Another less preferred possibility is the Aegis from the Vault of Glass. One player from the team would have to pick it up and use it without being able to fight or shoot. This is less ideal because it removes an entire person from the DPS phase, but even this would be preferable to the correct Well of Light.
