Other than a few network errors and graphics card related crashes, Destiny 2 has worked great on my laptop since I bought it. After playing for a couple of hours today, my game crashed spectacularly: making my laptop completely unresponsive and causing it to start burning up. I had to force shut down my laptop in fear of it overheating.
Now whenever I try starting up the game, it gets to the title screen fine, but if I click [Enter], everything goes wrong. It starts loading the game normally, but at some point during this step, Destiny 2 freezes up my whole laptop and starts overheating it.
I have been playing games on my current laptop for 5 years and I have never witnessed such a game-breaking bug. Is there anything that I can investigate to get it working again?

Edited by BNGHelp6: 2/21/2019 5:54:03 PMHi Isaac. Thanks for reaching out to us. The next time the game crashes, could you link me to your DxDiag? To find this information:
• Press (Windows Key + R) to bring up the Run dialog box, enter this command “dxdiag”, no quotation marks. • Click on “save all information”. • Copy the text and use a text dump website (i.e. PasteBin.com, DumpTxt.com) to paste the information. • Create a link and post it here.
